(Proud Of Nupe Blood)šŸ”„

Bro, no matter how much you prepare, things won’t always go as planned. That’s life. Pressure will hit. Plans will break.

Unexpected problems will show up. That’s why you must learn to stay calm and think clearly under pressure.šŸ’™

Good morning weekend people

Photos from Omo Tapa's post 23/06/2026

Good morning to you all. I hope this message finds you well and in good spirit as you step into the day ahead.

After the fear of God, let it be settled in your hearts that there is no one else you need to fear. When a person stands upright with truth, conscience, and a clear purpose, intimidation from people loses its power. The respect that matters most is the one you hold for your Creator and for yourself.

Living free from the fear of people does not mean being reckless or disrespectful. It means speaking honestly, acting justly, and walking your path without letting pressure or threats bend you. Courage grows when you remember that people’s opinions and powers are limited, but integrity is lasting.

So go about your day with boldness and calm. Do what is right, stand for what matters, and treat others with fairness. When fear of people falls away, focus and progress take place

Sometimes your silence will kill your emotion. So I choose to speak.

Someone commented on my post that I should ā€œgo and learn how to read Quran and Sunnah.ā€ My question is: what do you understand in Sunnah?

When you are talking about Sunnah and you said I should go and learn how to read Quran, let me make it clear: I finished Quran since I was 5 years old. So don’t think I don’t know what I am doing.

Ramaht is my real name.

The Quran strictly prohibits gossiping, backbiting, and slandering fellow human beings. It views these actions as severe sins that destroy social trust, and it provides strict warnings against them to protect the dignity and honor of everyone in the community.

Yet people hide behind religion to throw insults, to shame others, and to act like they hold the keys to someone else’s faith. That is not Sunnah. That is not the way of the Prophet, peace be upon him, who taught mercy, humility, and good character before anything else.

Before you correct someone publicly, check yourself. Before you assume someone is ignorant, ask with respect. Before you use Islam to attack, remember Islam also commands us to guard our tongues and think the best of others.

I know my Lord. I know my Book. And I know my worth.
Do not mistake my confidence for arrogance, or my voice for lack of home training.

Some people may be thinking I don’t have home training.

As I said earlier, you cannot judge a book by its cover.

The reason why I am doing all this: I cannot kill myself with hypertension. With the Nigerian situation, try to make yourself happy.

Life is already hard. Fuel, food, bills, stress from every corner. If I keep everything bottled up and try to please everybody, na BP go finish me. So I choose peace of mind first.

I choose to laugh when I can, dance when I feel like, speak my mind, and live in a way that keeps my heart light. It doesn’t mean I’m rude or I lack home training. It means I value my health and my sanity.

Before you judge someone’s actions, remember you don’t know the battles they’re fighting. We’re all just trying to survive this country with our heads still on our necks.

Make yourself happy. Protect your peace. Because if you break down, Nigeria will not stop for you.

Omo Tapa Signed,
One Nigerian who refuses to die from hypertension.

To everyone saying I don’t know how to cook:

I hear you. The comments, the jokes, the ā€œwhere is the wife materialā€ talk. Let me address it straight.

Cooking is a skill, not a gender certificate. Some people learn it at 10, some at 30, some hire someone else. All of that is fine. My worth isn’t measured by stew or jollof.

If your definition of ā€œwife materialā€ starts and ends in the kitchen, you’ve missed the whole person. Character, loyalty, drive, kindness, those don’t boil in a pot.

And to the ā€œomo tapa is good in cookingā€ crowd: good for omo tapa. I respect people who can cook well. I also respect people who are learning, who are building careers, who bring other strengths to the table. There’s more than one way to feed a home.

I’m not ashamed to say I’m still learning. I’ll burn rice. I’ll try again. I’ll order takeout when I need to. The world won’t end.

So if you’re waiting for me to prove my value with a sample plate before you respect me, you’ll be waiting a long time. Respect isn’t served with food. It’s given to humans.

If you want to teach me a recipe, I’m open. If you just want to criticize, I’m busy growing.

Respectfully,
Me. Omo Tapa
