Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia has ordered a manhunt for terrorists responsible for the deadly attack on Abande community in Kwande Local Government Area, which killed several people, including a police officer. The attack, which occurred on Tuesday, was reportedly carried out by armed herders who stormed the community, looting stalls and setting the market ablaze.

Governor Alia condemned the attack, describing it as a "cowardly act of terror" and assured residents that his administration would not relent in protecting lives and property. He directed security agencies to intensify operations, track down the perpetrators, and restore safety to the community.

Nigerian Army troops have destroyed a terrorist medical facility in Sokoto State, killing one operative and recovering six AK-47 rifles, as part of ongoing operations to combat terrorism in the North West region.

The operation, led by Operation FANSAN YAMMA, targeted a makeshift medical facility used to treat wounded fighters, dealing a significant blow to the terrorists' support system.

The troops also rescued 62 hostages in Zamfara State and neutralized two suspected terrorists in Kebbi State. The operations are part of a broader strategy to restore peace and security in the region, with the military urging citizens to provide timely and credible information to support ongoing efforts .

A woman came on TikTok to share her experience of doctors forgetting a pad inside her body after having her baby.

She said she was in severe pain for a long time and noticed an unusual, overwhelming smell coming from her body. It got so bad that her husband had to wear a nose mask whenever he came to help her bathe.

Eventually, after 6 days of unbearable pain and stench odour, she decided to check herself using a mirror and noticed something white hanging out. She called the nurse who attended to her at the hospital, and the nurse immediately realized what had happened, a pad was forgotten inside her.

The nurse guided her on how to carefully remove it. She said the pain was intense, but she took her time and managed to pull it out after 2hrs. The smell that followed filled the entire house to the point that no one could stay indoors.

Reading the comments, you’ll almost cry.
So many women shared similar experiences.
Some said theirs stayed for weeks. Some even longer.

And this is why I say: women are magical heroes.

Any woman who wants to get married should take her time and find a kind man worthy of that journey, because pregnancy and motherhood are not jokes.

Our mothers didn’t fully explain this part of life to us.
Pregnancy and motherhood are dangerous, bitter-sweet experiences.
