To promote & advocate for a Nigeria where all persons have access to adequate health and legal care

Happy Democracy Day Nigeria. πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬

At THEDI, today is not a day of celebration. It is a renewed commitment to a Nigeria where every citizen is safe, every right is upheld and every life is valued β€” regardless of tribe, religion or status.

True democracy protects its most vulnerable. And until that promise is fully kept, we will keep advocating, keep showing up and keep believing in a better Nigeria.

Happy Democracy Day β€” may this season bring us closer to the country we have always prayed for. πŸ™πŸΎπŸ”₯

THEDI was honoured to participate in the GomSACA Stakeholders’ Brief Meeting held on Friday 5th June 2026 at the GomSACA Conference Hall, Gombe State.

The meeting brought together critical stakeholders in the HIV/AIDS response space for an insightful session of updates, strategic alignment and strengthened collaboration β€” all directed toward a more effective and coordinated HIV/AIDS response across Gombe State.

Every conversation mattered.
Every contribution counted.
And every commitment made in that room moves us closer to the communities that need us most.

We remains resolute in our dedication to this cause β€” standing with GomSACA, NACA and all partners working tirelessly toward an HIV/AIDS-free Gombe State.

We are grateful for the continued partnership, the shared vision and the collective will to make a lasting difference. πŸ’š

New Week. New Opportunity to Prioritize What Matters.

As we begin a new week, remember that your mental health influences every part of your lifeβ€”your work, your studies, your relationships, your family, and your overall well-being.

This Men’s Mental Health Month, THEDI encourages every man to make mental wellness a priority, not an afterthought. Taking care of your mind is not a sign of weakness; it is an investment in a healthier, stronger, and more fulfilling life.

Start this week with intention. Check in with yourself. Rest when needed. Speak up when necessary. Seek support when you need it.

Because mental health matters. Every day. Every week. Every life. πŸ’š

every man reading this β€” this one is for you. πŸ’š

June is Men’s Mental Health Month and THEDI wants to say something that does not get said enough β€”
You do not have to have it all figured out.

You are allowed to not be okay.
You are allowed to feel deeply and still be strong.
You are allowed to make mistakes and still choose yourself again. ✊🏾

For too long the world has told men to carry everything silently. To push through without pausing. To be strong without ever being human.

But real strength? Real strength looks like vulnerability.

It looks like asking for help.
It looks like making peace with your past.
It looks like choosing your happiness β€” loudly and unapologetically.

This June give yourself permission to breathe. To heal. To pursue the joy you so freely encourage in everyone else but rarely extend to yourself. 😌
You matter. Your mental health matters. And you deserve to thrive β€” not just survive. πŸ’š

THEDI β€” Empowering Lives. Upholding Rights. Championing Health.

On Monday 26th May 2026, THEDI was proud to be part of the One-Day Dissemination Meeting for the Gombe State Strategic State Plan (SSP) 2025–2027 β€” convened by the Gombe State Agency for the Control of AIDS (GomSACA) in collaboration with NACA.

This was not just a meeting.
It was a declaration of direction.

The SSP 2025–2027 represents a renewed, structured and intentional roadmap for strengthening HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and response across Gombe State. And having the right voices, the right organizations and the right commitment in that room made every conversation count.

THEDI was there β€” listening, contributing and reaffirming our unwavering commitment to the communities we serve. Because when strategy meets action, lives change.

We are grateful to GomSACA and NACA for the invitation and for their continued leadership in driving a healthier, more informed and better protected Gombe State. 🀝🏾

The plan is set.
The commitment is real.
And THEDI is fully in.

Every life matters. Every single one. πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ’”

In a nation where children are being taken from classrooms, where teachers cannot educate without fear and where families wake up not knowing if their loved ones are safe β€” we must stop, speak and demand better. Loudly. Together.

Safety is not a privilege reserved for a few.
It is a fundamental human right owed to every Nigerian β€” regardless of tribe, religion, gender or geography.

The right to life. The right to education. The right to move freely without fear. The right to exist β€” fully, safely and with dignity.

These are not political talking points.
They are constitutional guarantees.
And they are being violated every single day. πŸ’”

At THEDI we believe that a Nigeria where children cannot go to school safely, where communities live under the constant shadow of violence and where human rights exist only on paper β€” is a Nigeria that is failing its people.

We are calling for a renewed, urgent and uncompromising commitment from our leaders, our institutions and every Nigerian citizen to protect lives, uphold rights and restore safety to every community across this nation.

Because until every child is safe β€”
Until every teacher can teach without fear β€”
Until every Nigerian can live with dignity and without terror.

The work is not done. And THEDI will not be silent. πŸ’š

Two celebrations. One powerful reminder. πŸŽˆπŸŒ™

Today the world celebrates children . We at THEDI celebrate right alongside every family marking Eid el-Kabir.

Two beautiful occasions. One shared message.
Every child deserves to grow up healthy, safe and deeply cared for.

Every family deserves access to the healthcare and rights that make that possible.

Whether you are watching your little ones play today or gathering with loved ones around a table of celebration β€” we pray this season finds you with joy, peace and everything your heart needs. 🀲🏾❀️

From all of us at THEDI β€”
Happy Children’s Day.
Eid Mubarak.

Recently, THEDI received a Joint Supervision and Support Visit (JSSV) from SASCAP/NACA β€” a formal evaluation of our HIV Self Testing (HIVST) activities carried out across Q4 2025 and Q1 2026.

And we are proud to say β€” we showed up. πŸ’š
Every test conducted. Every community reached. Every life touched through access to HIV self testing β€” accounted for, documented and presented with transparency and commitment to excellence.

We are grateful to SASCAP and NACA for the oversight, the collaboration and the shared commitment to ending HIV in Nigeria. Together, we are stronger.

The work continues. And THEDI is not slowing down. πŸ’šβœ¨

History was made in Gombe State last week.

THEDI was proudly present at the official launch of the Lenacapavir Injectable PrEP (LEN-PrEP) at the State Specialist Hospital Gombe β€” and what a landmark moment it was.

LEN-PrEP represents a significant leap forward in HIV prevention β€” an innovative, long-acting injectable option that expands access to protection for more people across Gombe State and beyond.

Events like this are exactly why THEDI shows up. Because when barriers to healthcare access fall, communities rise. And we will always be in the room where that happens.

Grateful to the SASCP team, Gombe State for the invitation and for championing this milestone. Here is to stronger HIV prevention, greater access and healthier communities across Nigeria.
The work continues. πŸ’š

A new week is here.

Before the hustle. Before the deadlines. Before you pour into everything and everyone else,
Check in with yourself first. 🫢🏾

Your mental health is not a luxury you tend to when things fall apart. It is the foundation everything else is built on. Guard it. Nurture it. Protect it like the precious thing it is.

This week, give yourself permission to rest without guilt. To say no without explanation. To choose your peace β€” loudly and unapologetically. You cannot pour from an empty cup. Fill yours first.

Your mind matters. Always. πŸ’š
