"...Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven..." (Mat.6:10)
One day, the disciples of Jesus came to Him and asked him to "teach us to pray..."
They wanted to learn his secret to prayer as well as his methods. Jesus responded to them and gave them a model to follow.
We are expected to begin by recognising the Fatherhood of God and hallowing His name. Thereafter, our top priority should be about establishing the Kingdom of God here on earth.
THY KINGDOM COME.
This is followed closely with a prayer for the will of God to be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
But here is the question...
When you pray, what are your priorities?
Do you just focus on your needs and desires alone?
Do you focus on the death of your perceived enemies?
Do you even bother to pray for the establishment of God's kingdom and the Fulfilment of His will?
Let us learn to align our priorities with God's priorities.
Pray for Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy ghost to reign in our nation and beyond.
Open your mouth wide and declare heavenly realities to be established in our land.
Don't get me wrong... there's nothing wrong with praying for your personal needs. But we must learn to put God's Kingdom first.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." (Mat.6:33)

SELF-AWARENESS AND RELATIONAL GROWTH
One thing I have noticed about many people who are self-aware (knowing both their strengths and weaknesses) is that they're prone to announcing their weaknesses along with their strengths, almost as if they naturally go together, or as if it is natural to have those weaknesses without showing any remorse for them.
From their point of view, they're just being "open and honest", and perhaps trying to let the other person know what to expect, as though it is perfectly justified to have and demonstrate those weaknesses.
This is NOT right.
Being open and honest about your WEAKNESSES doesn't mean they're things to be proud of.
Stop talking about your weaknesses as if they're normal. Nothing is "normal" about a bad behaviour.
Just as Grace is not a licence to sin, being Human is not a justification of a weakness.
Have you ever met some people who openly 'brag' about their imperfections? They talk about it as if there's nothing wrong with their inappropriate actions and attitude.
I think it's wrong.
If you have an anger problem for instance, do not always be quick to assert yourself as a person who "gets angry easily". Acknowledge it, but don't brag about it.
Stop pushing it down people's throats saying "This is who I am". No. That is not who you are. It is who you have BECOME.
Recognise the weakness for what it is - a WEAKNESS.
Recognise that you have a problem and address it with that consciousness - PROBLEM. So that you can find a solution.
Stop celebrating your imperfections and start striving towards improvements.
God bless you Abundantly.

Not everywhere you fit in is where you belong.
Learn to know your place.
Not everything that is sweet to your tongue is healthy for your stomach.
Learn to know what is real food.
Not everyone who applauds you is wishing you well.
Learn to separate fanatics from supporters.
Not everything you feel good about is good for you.
Learn to DISCERN RIGHT FROM WRONG.
Beyond looking, learn to SEE.
Beyond listening, learn to HEAR.
And at the end of all... COMPREHEND.

"No one said it was going to be easy..." We hear that phrase all the time, but it hits differently when you’re actually in the middle of the struggle.
As we gradually move further into the new year, maybe you’re a new entrepreneur wondering if the business will ever take off.
Maybe you’re a career professional feeling the weight of a new responsibility.
Maybe you’re a writer wondering if your voice even matters. Or if the book or articles you're writing will ever come to limelight...
I’m here to tell you that It does and it will. The struggle is not necessarily a sign that you’re failing; it’s a sign that you’re growing.
Every big dream requires a price of admission called Perseverance. It is a STAYING POWER and the capacity to endure difficult moments and uncertain seasons.
It’s okay to be tired. It’s okay to take a break. But what is NOT OK is to lose sight of your vision and just throw in the towel. Don't you dare give up when the vision is still worth pursuing.
The view from the top is only beautiful because of the climb it took to get there. If you persevere, I promise you—it will be worth it.
Tag someone who needs to hear this today. Let’s keep building, climbing and pushing together! ⬇️
