Lord, in Your constant presence, humble me to fully turn to You, hear Your voice, and recognize You. When confused, open my mind to Your Truth, that I may believe with all my heart and follow where You lead.

Feeling lost in doubt? Follow their path: Seek Jesus in the Word and Breaking of Bread. There, He opens eyes, calms hearts, turns confusion to faith.

At bread-breaking, their eyes opened. They recognized Him in this Eucharistic act. Though He vanished, His True Presence remained.

He rebuked them lovingly: “How foolish you are! How slow to believe…” This invites us to admit spiritual blindness humbly. To the humble, He opens Scripture, revealing all points to Him.

Today Reflection: Two disciples journeyed to Emmaus, hearts overflowing with hope amidst sorrow, for Jesus had been crucified yet triumphantly resurrected, leaving His tomb empty, and angels' reports of His glorious rising left them in awe.

A stumbling block to the pessimist is a stepping stone to the optimist.
