Hi guys I'm sorry I haven't been posting stories but I'm here now and will resume work immediately....while I'm working on entertaining you better let's make do with what we have. Which of my stories are you enjoying most...let me know🥰🥰

Sorry guys I haven't been posting, but don't worry guys I'm working on an upgrade to entertain you better. And will continue the chapters from wherever it stops....

OMENKA: Chapter 8

It was not only oshimiri that es**rted the king to the boundary, the princes later followed, some elders and youths were not left out.
It is a norm that whenever the king is embarking on a journey the villagers es**rt him to a certain point and then turns back.

The king handed over decision making to the village chief, whose name is Akirika, to oversee every matter that may arise when he is away.
Left for the king he would have handed over to Akpauche but because that's the tradition, as an impartial king he decided to stick to tradition.

Ezenta the native doctor after doing some incantations declared that the king is safe to go.
The king and his queen waved the people and crossed the boundary with the guards and some maidens while the princes and the villagers turned back..

Nnam, shouted Obidike the king turned back, can we go and visit Adaeze It has been a while since she visited.
That's a good idea you can go but with the guards.
Oshimiri and Akpauche please keep the Princes company to Adaeze's kingdom but not today the king ordered.
They all bowed down in respect and the king continued with his journey.

Three days later Oshimiri and Akpauche went to the palace as agreed by Obidike the King's first son, before they got to the palace the princes were already ready for the journey to the princess place.
They parked some gifts ranging from goats, c***s, yam and other farm produce.

Earlier Obidike had gone to meet Akirika the elder whom the king delegated to act on his behalf until he comes back. Obidike's reason for visiting Akirika was to caution him on his excessive misuse of the power bestowed on him by the king, in less than a week the villagers now present 60% of their farm produce to him and then take home 40%.

On their way to see their sister princess Adaeze they were ambushed. Akpauche, oshimiri and the guards were trying to fight the intruders but unfortunately Akpauche was killed in the process along with one of the guards. The rest of them were taken away by the intruders.

Adaeze and her husband were patiently waiting for her brothers, even her father in-law king Ahamefula became worried because they should be in his kingdom by that time and it is already dawn.
Adaeze began to cry, her husband prince ikemba held her.
Adaeze wipe your tears tomorrow morning I will send the guards to Ikenga village to find out what happened I think they are fine maybe change of plans the king said.

In that case father, I shall be going with the guards to my kingdom. Me too father I shall es**rt my wife to Ikenga kingdom.
Very well then the king responded.
The message has already reached king Omenka and he is also preparing to leave umuagu before the c**kcrow. First thing before c**k crow, Adaeze and prince ikemba her husband were already on their way to Ikenga.

King Omenka got to Ikenga before them and what he met in his palace was co**ses including his friend Akpauche all the villagers were mourning.
Then it didn't take long Adaeze and her husband prince ikemba entered it was a devastating moment for the royal household.

Akirika the king thundered I delegated you to take care of our kingdom for just two market days and you brought doom upon me, the king yelled and cried like a child.
Where are my sons, where are my friends, where are my guards and where are the maidens? I came back all you could welcome me with is the remains of my friend Akpauche and my guard.

Akirika you did this to me, how could you and you are giving excuses that they left the kingdom before c**k crow. I will never forgive this kingdom let the gods bear me witness anyone who has a hand in the killings and the disappearance of my sons
Akpauche my friend is no more.

The queen was es**rted inside by Adaeze because she was speechless and down.
The king tore his royal garment in front of his subjects and knelt down to mourn his subject who were gruesomely murdered.
Prepare them for burial the king thundered and entered into his palace.
He turned back and faced Akirika, Akirika you have two market days to produce my sons or face the doom that comes knocking at your door.

Days passed the Queen's health started detoriating and Adaeze didn't travel back with her husband, she decided to stay in Ikenga for sometime to take care of her mother. Ezenta, Omemma find my sons. You have just two market days to do so or I will take a very drastic decision.
Meanwhile Akpauche my friend is no more because of me, so I have decided to take responsibility of his family that is if I am still alive after two market days.
You all may depart, you have stabbed me at the back and I have dusted my feet in front of you all. If anyone has a hand in this calamity that has befallen me.....I won't speak further until two market days elapses.

After two market days, the king had a dream and in that dream, he saw prince Obiagu begging him to come and save them that they where at the evil forest and would die if he doesn't come fast, the king jumped up from his bambo bed frightened and the guards brought water for him to wash his face.

Nwelekebe entered the palace limping because he was still recovering from the snake bite, shortly the king came out he bowed to the king in respect.
Nwelekebe why did you come out you are still a convalescent, everyone has left my side nwelekebe my world is coming to an end the king cried out.

I am here for you to the very end my king I may be limping or sick but I am spiritually strong and I shall fight with you till the end I'm sorry "Onye eze I failed you" my heart bleeds and I shall fight with my last blood. My king I shall be back before dawn Nwelekebe bows and left in Anger.

Hey! Adams, can you leave my daughter out of whatever grudge you have against me, look if anything should happen to my daughter it will be a massacre for you and your household i won't spare anyone.

Hey! Spunky common in I was on the phone with that Animal Adams before you interrupted.
Tell me spunky how do I save my daughter? Adams is claiming not to abduct my daughter.

Hello! Mr Lucas is Audrey

Audrey? I jumped up from the couch where I was sitting, can..can you talk to me please for Christ sake, be Audible where are you guys, where is my daughter?.

After she was fully aware of her environment we drove home to my house because she had some questions to answer about my daughter.

I allowed her to use Mia's room just to freshen up.
At the dining table as she was eating what they made for her, she wasn't still comfortable . You can tell that her hands were shaking as if she had Parkinson's disease.
Now Audrey please can you tell me where my daughter is?
Audrey began to cry and narrated how some unknown men fully armed double crossed their Car and abducted them." Mr Lucas please save my best Friend.

Now start talking about what happened to Mia before I blow your brains.
Jeez! Spunky what are you doing can't you see she is traumatized over what happened? Lower the gun, Spunky is an order.

I went inside my bedroom and immediately my eyes went straight to Elizabeth's picture hanging on the wall.

There was a shootout and Mia was hit by a stray bullet as she made her way out of the car to hug her dad.
Immediately I disappeared from the scene carrying Mia in a pull of her own blood.

“ Lucas Pov”

Spunky Mia is still not back and I can't get her on the phone. Her Friend Audrey's number isn't connecting either.
F**k! My head wants to fall out spunky. Why did I allow Mia to go out with her friend alone?

Hello! Miss Clara is my daughter in your house. She went shopping with Audrey, your daughter.

What do you mean Mr Lucas I should be asking you where my daughter is because your daughter invited her over for shopping.
Spunky can you think of something reasonable that could serve as a hint and stop running around me like a locust.

Mr Adams has just aroused the Mafia in me, once a Mafian king, always a Mafian king.

Hello! This is the cop, we saw a white honda sport car with a note and your phone number on it. So can you come to “lincoln Road”
F**k! At this moment I knew my daughter was in danger and spunky doubled his Speed to Lincoln's Road.

The Cop was following us. I know why, I told Spunky to pull over.
Officer, my hands are on the steering Spunky says, I came down with my hands up.
Officer I got a call from a cop that they saw my daughter's car with a note inside the car that had my number.

I have to go save my daughter. What is your name? The officer asked.
My name is “Lucas Williams”
Oh! You are the famous Lucas? Nevertheless we have to confirm that you are telling the truth.

The cop put a call across and confirmed what I said and they allowed me and spunky to go but warned us to drive at a normal speed.
We got to Lincoln's road and it was my daughter's car.
The cops handed me the note and asked if I had anything to say concerning the note. I was Scared to disclose because I know the implications. I just lied by telling them I had a little fight with my daughter she left in anger.

Oh! I see, are you sure this is not a case of kidnapping?
No not at all, immediately replied to the cops If I need your attention I will call ASAP.
Spunky I guess I have a new enemy This note says “I'm Michael Roberts you know how to find me”.
Who the heck is Michael Roberts? Spunky pull over we have to go home and strategize I guess I have more than one hell to wrestle with .
Boss I think you have to trade with caution who knows if he is working with Mr Adams or not, if he is not is a very big problem.
Spunky! Spunky! Spunky! How many times did I call you don't try my patience what do you mean by " You" now let me make it clear to you, you have less than 24hrs to resign if you are not ready to fight this battle with me.

Now get the f**k out of my car and han over my car keys to me, I will drive myself. You sort yourself out I angrily pushed him, he fell down and I didn't bother to check if he was fine, I just drove off.

“Mia's Pov”
Michael had a lot of security in his house, even if I wanted to run it will be very difficult.
But…t how did Michael reach me, oh! oh! Audrey, she was the one who exchanged contact with Michael.
No I don't want to think that my best friend consciously lured me into this trap, maybe she did unconsciously.

A voice came from the varanda, aren't you gonna eat your food? Then get ready to starve to death.
That was Michael's voice, I can sense pain in his heart. The love he had for Derick is so heart warming I can feel his pains. I kept on staring at him despite his cruel attitude I can still feel his kind heart.
Mr Michael please let me go, I promisenot to disclose your identity to my dad. I also know that if you wanted to kill me you would have done that long ago.

Gosh! Do you think I give a f**k? My reason for abducting you is to lure your father to my net and here you are ranting.
Can i see my friend Audrey is she okay?
Michael just ignored me and left, I started putting myself in his shoes and I understand the trauma his friend's death must have put him.
Michael ordered one of his staff to show me a room and provide everything I needed for me.
I was right, I know he is not as bad as he acts. I just pray my dad is innocent of this whole allegation,I'm just tired of all the stress.

I came out from the room after I had freshened up, Michael was in his living room eating some veggies.
Can I Sit? I asked Michael he didn't respond to me so I decided to sit.
Please I just Want to know why you are treating me so nicely, I'm still your hostage.

I left for the mall to get some sanitary towels because as she stood up I could see blood stains on her butt.
I opened her room, immediately she saw me she began shivering I threw the sanitary towel at her and left the room.
She Screamed from the Room thank you Mr Michael. I know you are not a bad person, I can sense a broken heart from her voice.

At this point I was in a state of Dilemma, and didn't know what to do. I decided to drink to stupor. I can't get my friend Derick off my head.
I dozed off on the couch as I woke up in the morning. I discovered I was covered in a duvet.
Hey! Is anyone there? One of my domestic staff came out.
Yeah! Good morning I discovered I slept off and someone covered me up in a Duvet. Are you the one?

No Sir she said.
I did Sir a voice from upstairs, I turned and it was Mia.
Um…you? you covered me with a duvet, don't you get it you are my hostage who allowed you to go into another room apart from the one given to you?

I didn't go into any other room, I gave you my duvet she said

Maya's Bedtime stories: Chapter 1

Diane and the bunny.

It was summer break, Diane's parents decided to take her to her grand mother because she is fond of her and she is a Caribbean and also leaves their since the demise of her husband.
When they got their grandma Betty was so happy and had prepared a chicken sauce for them to eat.
Diane's parents spent a night with Grandma Betty and gave her alot of goodies they had brought for her.

The following morning they left, leaving Grandma Betty and Diane to themselves.
Diane loves mushrooms so Grandma Betty would always go to her garden to harvest fresh mushrooms for her grandchild.
One morning Grandma Betty was in her garden while Diane was within the premises chasing butterflies and playing with them, but she heard a sound from afar and it sounded interesting she decided to go check.
She walked gazing inside the fairy bush and before she could realize it she had gone so far that she can't find her way back.

So she decided to continue moving until she finds where the sound came but the more Diane moves closer the farer the sound but she didn't relent until she found a beautiful rabbit crying under the grass, she was so compassionate and carried it. Don't cry cutie I am here my name is Diane we can be friends.

Thank you for picking me up said the rabbit, I lost my way I stay around this fairy bush but can't really find my house and my parents and siblings will be looking for me.
I am new here, I came for summer at my grandma's house and I am barely 48hrs around her, I know she would be looking for me now said Diane and I don't know my way back to grannie's.
Don't cry my friend said the rabbit we would figure it out I can take you home but first you must help me locate my hutch, so that I can bond with my family.

Dianne and the little rabbit continued moving inside the fairy bush until they noticed a beaming light from afar then the rabbit shouted huh! huh!huh! what is it asked Dianne, that's our hutch.
There comes the buck, Doe and bunnies coming to hug their missing bunny.
The bunny introduced Diane to his family and they all welcomed Diane and served her with some fruits. The buck was so grateful that he went inside their hutch and brought something like crystal and handed it over to Diane as a token of appreciation.

Wow thank you buck says Diane is beautiful and I will take it to Grandma.. please is getting late bunny can you now show me a way out to my grandma's place?
No Diane you have to sleep over tomorrow morning we will es**rt you to your grandma's. What would you like to eat for dinner the doe ask, I am fine says Diane the fruits you presented before me is still heavy in my stomach she smiles.
Grandma Betty had already called Diane's parents and notified the police but because it was late Diane's parents said they would be coming tomorrow. Grandma Betty cried all through the night and continued to pray for the safety of her grandchild.

It was morning and the Buck and Doe had already packed a lot of groceries for Diane to give to her grandma, Diane appreciated them and both the bunnies, Doe and Buck all seems emotional over Diane, because they enjoyed her company.
Don't worry Diane said I know your hutch now I will often come to visit you guys.

They rabbits es**rted Diane to her grandma's they got to a point the buck said to Diane just two steps you will get to the fairy land where your grandma stays. We will just stand and watch you until we can't see your back again then we will know that you are home.
Diane hugged the bunny, goodbye my friends I will come back to visit you people.
Grandma was in front of her house with the police and Diane's parents when they sighted Diane moving so tired, granny rushed to hug her.

Diane narrated to her parents and Grandma what happened and apologized to them for keeping them worried. Diane enjoyed her stay with her granny, three days to the end of her summer holiday with Grandma Betty, she became moody and when Grandma asked she said she was missing bunny the rabbit..and grandma promised to look for a way to bring bunny to her.

Around evening grandma Betty and Diane where in the garden when Diane heard a sound, grandma did you hear that sound, that sounds like bunny. Diane jumped out from the garden and saw something standing by Grandma's door, bunny is that you? Immediately bunny heard Diane's voice he jumped to hug her, before Diane could say jack other bunnies, the buck and Doe came out.

Huh!! My friends I am happy to see you...common in let's go to the garden so that you guys can see my grandma.
They all went into the garden to see grandma, Grandma was happy and worried too that she asked the Buck why all of them came out at the same time looking dirty.

There is fire outbreak in our fairy tale garden, we don't know where to go so we decided to come and visit Diane and plead with you to allow us stay for sometime before we can return to our hutch.
Please grandma they are my friends and were good to me when I was missing in their garden.
Please grandma let them stay with you to keep you company, summer will soon end and you will be all alone. Let's build them a fairy hutch.

Anything for you my angel now let's go inside and make something delicious for your friends and tomorrow morning we will assemble materials to build the hutch.
The bunnies jumped on grandma Betty in appreciation.
Summer is over and Diane's parents were already at Grandma Betty's house to take her with them...bunny wasn't happy that Diane was going back and he continued to cry.

Please papa can my bunny come with us, he can visit his family anytime.
If the buck accepts then we can take him replied Diane's father.
Bunny was so happy because the buck had given his consent. Bunny hugged his parents and siblings and jumped into the car as Dianne also was hugging her grandma and other bunnies. You can stay as long as you wish because one good turn deserves another you guys brought my daughter home without a scratch so we are returning the favor thank you for being kind to my princess and we shall be nice to you guys too said Diane's father and he entered his car and drove off with his wife, Diane and the bunny.

“ Mia's Pov”

Audrey I will be going on a vacation with my dad and I don't know how long we are staying, my dad just wants to take a break from work and… never mind girl i will miss you.
Hei! Don't do that girl you wanted to say something to me, when did you start hiding things.

I almost told Audrey about Derick’s murder, she will hear it but not now my dad had warned me to keep my mouth shut that no one is to be trusted.
Nothing I said, I just wanted you to help me with something while I am away but don't worry about that.

Alright it's fine so can we go shopping girl I left all that I was doing as soon as you called me, you know I love doing shopping with you.
I had already begged my dad to allow me to go shopping with Audrey, He hesitated but because of the love he had for me he allowed me but kept me on time.

“Audrey's Pov”

I'm so sorry girlfriend I have to do this, you are leaving in affluence while your friend leaves in penury. I thought I would be loyal to you until I learnt money was involved.
Ummm! Why am I giving this a second thought? I mean I need this money, my mom works as a store keeper and she needs this money too.

So I guess I'm doing all of this for my mom and myself and besides Mr Lucas is Selfish how could he do this to my crush Michael?
Everything is just playing out so real no one would suspect me because Mia was the one who asked me to come over for shopping.

Girlfriend you go nowhere.. vacation cancelled.
I had already told Michael I was coming to see Mia..
As we drove to the mall for shopping a black tinted car double crossed ours and two macho men pointing a gun at us.
Mia was so frightened we came out from Mia's car and entered the tinted car.

Please what do you guys want please don't harm us my dad will be so heartbroken if anything happens to me.
We were blindfolded, they took us to an empty room. The echo from the room was much,
Mia was just crying and saying save me daddy huh! So annoying what a spoiled brat.

Some minutes later the door opened and someone came in and I was taken away, leaving only Mia.
I was Uncovered and Untied, and the person I saw in front of me was Michael.
Gosh! his mansion looks like paradise, what about his looks I was mesmerized.


“Micheal's Pov”
Audrey!Audrey! I called her several times and she didn't answer. Perhaps she is lost at my cuteness or maybe the mansion..you can tell she is more materialistic.
Oh! Sorry I forgot myself she said when she got herself.
Is fine. I just want you to know that I lied when I told you Mr Lucas owes me but that wasn't the real thing.

You see, Lucas murdered my best friend “Derick” and I must avenge his death even if it means killing his only child, that is if he doesn't present himself.
S**t! did you say you would kill Mia?
Please you can't do that, that wasn't what you told me earlier before I agreed to this

Audrey started sobbing
Hey! If you think I got a thing for you, you must be a joker. I'm Michael and I don't fall in love. I only play games so this is an envelope that can change your life because I know it is all about the money for you.

F**k you Michael I'm gonna tell Mr Lucas everything. you guys won't involve my best friend in all of this. Your best friend yet you betrayed her? You must be crazy.

I went to the room where Lucas's daughter was laying blindfolded and tied
