The Golden Rule That Changes Everything

Based on Luke 6:31 — “Do to others as you would have them do to you.”

There is one simple rule that can change your life, your relationships, your home, your community, and even the whole world. This rule is short, powerful, and full of deep wisdom.

Jesus gave us this rule in the Bible. It is found in Luke 6:31:

“Do to others as you would have them do to you.”

This is called “The Golden Rule.” It is called golden because it is precious, valuable, and worth more than money or gold.

1. What Does the Golden Rule Mean?

It means this:
Treat other people the way you want them to treat you.
If you want people to be kind to you, then be kind to them.
If you want people to forgive you, then forgive them.
If you want people to help you when you are weak, then help them when they are weak.

It is a very simple rule — but not always easy. Yet, if we practice it, the world will be a better place.

2. This Rule Is for Everyone

The Golden Rule is not just for Christians. It is not just for pastors or religious people.
It is for everybody — children, adults, leaders, workers, rich and poor.

In fact, people all over the world — in different religions and cultures — have shared this same wisdom in different ways.

Here are some variations across cultures:

Confucianism (China): “Do not impose on others what you do not wish for yourself.”

Islam: “None of you [truly] believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself.” (Hadith)

Hinduism: “This is the sum of duty: do not do to others what would cause pain if done to you.”

Judaism: “What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbor.” (Talmud)

This shows that the Golden Rule is not just a Christian idea. It is a universal law of life.

3. Why Is This Rule So Important?

Because everyone wants to be loved, respected, helped, and valued. But many people forget to give these same things to others. We often think only about what we want from people. The Golden Rule teaches us to start by giving what we want to receive.

Want love? Give love.

Want peace? Be peaceful.

Want respect? Show respect.

Want support? Be supportive.

This rule helps us become better people — and builds better families, churches, schools, businesses, and nations.

4. Start With Yourself

Change always begins with one person — you.

You don’t need to wait for others to be good to you first. Be the first to show love. Be the first to forgive. Be the first to smile. Be the first to say sorry. Be the first to do the right thing.

If everyone waits for the other person to do good first, nothing will change. But if you start today, you will begin to see change in your life and in others.

5. The Golden Rule Is a Seed

When you obey this rule, it’s like planting a good seed. That seed will grow. It may take time, but it will bring a good harvest.

If you give kindness, it will come back to you.
If you give mercy, it will return.
If you give joy, you will reap joy.

The Bible says:

“Whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.” — Galatians 6:7

6. When Is the Right Time to Practice This Rule?

Always.
Even when you are tired.
Even when people hurt you.
Even when others are not kind.
Even when you are in pain.
Even when it is hard.

Remember: You are not doing it just for them — you are doing it for God and for your own peace.

7. Examples That Make It Clear

Here are some simple examples:

If you don’t like people shouting at you, then don’t shout at them.

If you don’t want people to lie to you, then don’t lie to them.

If you want people to visit you when you are sick, then visit others when they are sick.

If you love it when someone encourages you, then become someone who encourages others.

8. Jesus Is Our Perfect Example

Jesus didn’t just teach the Golden Rule. He lived it.

He loved even His enemies.

He forgave those who hurt Him.

He helped the poor, healed the sick, and lifted the brokenhearted.

He gave His life for us — even when we did not deserve it.

If you want to live like Jesus, start with this rule. It will help you walk in His footsteps.

9. What Happens If You Break This Rule?

If you treat others badly, life will also treat you badly.
If you hurt others, you will feel hurt too.
If you judge others unfairly, others will judge you the same way.

That’s why Jesus said in Luke 6:38:

“With the same measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

10. One Rule. One Life. One World.

If there is only one rule you can remember today, let it be this:
“Do to others what you want them to do to you.”

This one sentence is powerful enough to guide:

Your words

Your actions

Your decisions

Your family

Your ministry

Your business

Your relationships

A Golden Prayer

Lord, help me to live by the Golden Rule. Help me to treat others the way I want to be treated. Help me love like Jesus, live like Jesus, and shine His light in the world. Amen.

The Anointing—Heaven’s Power at Work in Earthly Vessels

“It is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” – Zechariah 4:6

Introduction: More Than Just a Gift

The word “anointing” has been echoed across generations, pulpits, and prayer altars. Often mistaken as a spiritual title or an emotional sensation, many believers have reduced the anointing to a moment of excitement or a badge of honor worn by ministers. But the anointing is far more than a gift; it is divine enablement—God placing His own power, wisdom, and authority on mortal men and women to fulfill divine purposes beyond their human ability.

When God anoints a person, He does not merely give them a talent or charisma. He clothes them with Himself. It is not an outward ability to impress others—it is the inward power to fulfill destiny. The anointing is what transforms a shepherd boy into a giant killer (David), a stammerer into a deliverer of nations (Moses), and an unlearned fisherman into an apostle whose shadow heals the sick (Peter).

1. The Anointing Defined: God's Touch Upon Dust

The anointing is the supernatural working of the Holy Spirit upon human vessels to accomplish assignments that require divine intervention. It is God putting His hand on your life so that what was once impossible now becomes natural—because it is no longer you working, but Him working through you.

The Bible says in Acts 10:38:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

Even Jesus—the Son of God in the flesh—did not operate in ministry without the anointing. He was anointed before He healed the sick, raised the dead, or cast out demons. If Jesus, who was perfect, required the anointing to fulfill His earthly assignment, then we who are imperfect must crave and cherish it even more.

2. The Anointing Is Not Talent, It Is Power

Talent is natural, but the anointing is supernatural. You can be gifted, yet remain frustrated. Many people sing beautifully, preach eloquently, or lead skillfully, but they lack impact because they rely on human strength. The anointing makes your voice more than a sound—it makes it a sword. It makes your words more than grammar—it makes them fire.

In 1 Corinthians 2:4, Apostle Paul said:

“My speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.”

True ministry, true parenting, true leadership, and true business are not rooted in intellect alone—they require divine empowerment. You don’t just need a gift; you need God to breathe on your gift.

3. The Anointing Breaks Yokes

Isaiah 10:27 declares:

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.”

Yokes represent anything that binds, burdens, or limits you. The anointing is God’s tool for breaking the invisible chains that stop people from progressing. No curse, no generational bo***ge, no delay or opposition can withstand the force of the anointing.

It is the anointing that gives you victory without battle. It is the hand of God resting upon your life, causing things to work beyond logic. When the anointing is at work, doors open without knocking, and mountains move without shouting. It is the silent storm that clears the way for destiny.

4. Levels of Anointing: Fresh Oil, Deeper Depths

Psalm 92:10 says:

“But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of a unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.”

The anointing is not a one-time experience. There are levels. There is fresh oil. Many people are operating under yesterday’s oil, but they are facing today’s battles. That’s why they fail.

Fresh oil comes through:

Consecration – God doesn’t anoint dirty vessels. He anoints holy ones.

Worship – Praise and thanksgiving stir the Spirit and refill your lamp.

Prayer and Fasting – These deepen your connection and cleanse your spirit.

Kingdom Service – God increases His oil on those who pour out for others.

You must constantly hunger for more. The anointing you received yesterday can’t carry you into tomorrow’s assignment. New battles require new oil. You can’t microwave the anointing. It must be freshly drawn from the secret place.

5. The Anointing Is for Impact, Not Applause

The anointing is not for show; it is for service. It’s not for stage performance, but kingdom advancement. God anoints people to carry burdens, to heal the broken, to lift the fallen, and to bring His will to pass on earth. It is not a badge of superiority, but a mantle of responsibility.

Luke 4:18 summarizes the purpose of the anointing:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach… heal… deliver… recover… and set free.”

If your anointing does not benefit others, then it has become corrupted. Heaven’s oil is for the broken, not the boastful. You are anointed to serve, to build, to bless, to repair the breaches in people’s lives.

6. Every Believer Can Be Anointed

The anointing is not for pastors alone. It is for every believer who desires to fulfill purpose. Acts 2:17 says:

“In the last days, I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh…”

If you are a teacher, you can teach under the anointing. If you are a mechanic, you can fix cars with divine insight. If you are a mother, you can raise children with supernatural wisdom. If you are a businessperson, the anointing can give you creativity, strategy, and favor.

All you need is hunger. God does not anoint the qualified; He qualifies the anointed.

Your Goal: Pursue the Oil

You may have a dream, a calling, a gift—but without the anointing, you will struggle. God never sends a man without equipping him. And His equipment is the anointing. It is divine enablement for earthly assignments.

Therefore, pursue the oil more than you pursue opportunities. Chase the presence of God more than the applause of men. Crave divine empowerment more than connections with powerful people. Because one drop of God’s anointing can do what a thousand years of labor cannot.

Let this be your prayer:

“Lord, anoint me for my assignment. I don’t want to live by effort—I want to live by empowerment.

2. Lord, let Your Spirit rest upon me afresh. Fill me, use me, and glorify Yourself through me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

YOUR GREATEST ENEMY — THAT MAY ALSO BE YOUR GREATEST FRIEND — IS YOU YOURSELF.

Why?

Because no one can destroy a man faster, deeper, or more consistently than the man himself — through his own thoughts, choices, beliefs, and habits.

Yet at the same time, no one can help a man rise, succeed, and fulfill destiny more than that same man — when he chooses to walk in wisdom, discipline, faith, and truth.

Here’s why YOU are your greatest enemy — or friend:

1. Your Thoughts Shape Your Life

“As he thinks in his heart, so is he.” — Proverbs 23:7

Your mind is either a battlefield or a building site. If you entertain fear, bitterness, laziness, or self-pity, you sabotage your future. But if you fill it with God's Word, faith, and vision — your life changes.

2. Your Choices Determine Your Destiny

Every day, you make decisions that move you toward success or failure. Bad decisions often come from ignoring wisdom. Wise decisions bring growth and peace.

"I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life..." — Deuteronomy 30:19

3. You Can Sabotage Yourself With Excuses

People blame others, demons, or their past — but often, the real enemy is their own unwillingness to grow, forgive, pray, or change.

“A man’s own folly ruins his life, yet his heart rages against the Lord.” — Proverbs 19:3 (NIV)

4. You Are Always With Yourself

Your worst enemy is not out there — it’s inside: your doubts, your pride, your laziness, your unforgiveness, your lack of vision.

But so is your best friend: your ability to learn, your hunger for truth, your spirit that God can revive, your mind that can be renewed, and your heart that can love again.

Conclusion:

You are your greatest enemy, but also your greatest friend.
If you conquer yourself, the devil, the world, and every enemy will fall in line.
But if you lose the battle against yourself, even God’s blessings may not help you.

A PROPHETIC LETTER TO YOU, DEAR PASTOR

Dear Beloved Shepherd of God's People,

Heaven sees.
Heaven knows.
Heaven records.

It is no small thing that you daily pour yourself out as a drink offering in God’s vineyard —
Praying with tears,
Studying with diligence,
Preaching with fire,
Counseling the broken,
Comforting the grieving,
Correcting in love,
Giving beyond your means,
Leading without applause,
Thinking deeply,
Planning tirelessly,
Praising joyfully,
Motivating the weary,
Writing messages from heaven,
Visiting the forgotten...

And yet, oftentimes, it seems like the ground yields no fruit.

You water.
You plant.
You believe.
But the increase seems delayed.

Sometimes, instead of growth, there's departure...
The ones you intercede for gossip in secret.
The ones you discipled now rise against you, quoting the very truths you taught.
The ones you nurtured with love now label you “too local” — forgetting how they first met you in their hour of need.
Some sit in your leadership circle, but dance in Absalom’s rebellion.
Some eat from your table, yet curse you behind closed doors.

There are days you go hungry — spiritually, emotionally, even physically — yet your smile hides the weight behind your weary eyes.

And let us not speak of the wounds from fellow ministers —
Envy cloaked in piety.
Jealousy dressed in brotherhood.
Bitterness served as counsel.

Oh, the silent agony pastors endure.
Not because they are weak,
But because the weight of ministry was never meant to be borne by flesh alone.

When you see a pastor break down, stumble, or shout out in frustration —
Do not rush to judge.
Sometimes it’s not ignorance,
But the invisible strain of a soul that has carried too much for too long.

Dear Called One,
God knew.
He knew the betrayals.
He knew the loneliness.
He knew the hunger.
He knew the silent battles.
And still, He called you.

He factored in your weakness, your scars, your doubts — and He still said, “Go.”

You are not forgotten.
You are not disqualified.
You are not forsaken.

Thus says the Lord to His servant:
"I have engraved you on the palm of My hand. I have not forgotten your labor of love. I have bottled every tear you wept in secret. I will raise help for you in due season. You will not be put to shame. I will uphold you with My right hand." (Isaiah 49:16, Psalm 56:8, Isaiah 41:10)

Dear Pastor, lift up your head.
You are not alone.
Heaven backs you.
Grace surrounds you.
Glory awaits you.

Let this be your strength today:
He who called you is faithful — and He will do it.
He will strengthen you.
He will supply your needs.
He will whisper peace in your midnight hour.
He will surround you with sons and daughters who will not break your heart.

I feel your pain, dear servant of God — for I too have tasted it.
But more importantly, Jesus knows it more deeply than anyone ever could.

He will stand by you, even when all others walk away.

So rise again.
Preach again.
Love again.
Believe again.

You are God's battle axe — forged in fire, refined by trials, anointed by His Spirit.

If you know a Pastor, Minister, or servant of God...
Send this to them.
Let them know: They are seen. They are loved. They are not alone.

SHALOM.
By the wisdom of God.

I WAS IN A BUSINESS WHATSAPP GROUP, BUT THEY STARTED SPEAKING AGAINST THE GOSPEL AND BIBLE. AND THIS IS MY ANSWER TO THOSE WHO HATES CHRISTIANITY, CHURCHES AND PASTORS

Here's a calm but powerful response to address every arrogant and disrespectful views, not just for debate, but for truth and clarity before the people who are misleading.

A Message to all haters of truth and righteousness. To everyone who have chosen to insult the Bible, condemn Christianity, vilify pastors, and call those who disagree with you “idiots and fools.”

But let’s speak truth, not insults. You are not just attacking people—you are attacking history, spiritual truth, and the legacy of hope, freedom, and transformation that Christianity has brought to Nigeria, Africa and the word at large.

⚔️1. You're Fighting a Battle You Cannot Win. You can fight opinions. You can fight men. But when you fight the Bible, the name of Jesus Christ, and the church, you are fighting a spiritual foundation billions of people stand on—across ages, cultures, and continents. Many great empires tried to silence the gospel: Rome, communism, radical Islamists, and atheists. Where are they now? But the Word of God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8).

2. Why Christianity Is Not “a Bad Thing” for Nigeria or Africa

✅ Christianity brought education:
*Missionaries built Nigeria’s first schools (e.g., CMS Grammar School, 1859).
*They taught reading and writing in native languages.
*The first African bishop, Samuel Ajayi Crowther, was a former slave who translated the Bible into Yoruba.

✅ Christianity brought hospitals & compassion:
*Christian missions started hospitals, leprosy clinics, maternal care centers.
*Christianity introduced human dignity, equality, and the idea that every soul matters—rich or poor.

✅ Christianity challenged slavery and colonialism:
*While some white powers colonized, it was Christian abolitionists who led the charge to end the slave trade.
*It was Christian movements that built the foundation for African self-governance and literacy, though this was abused by African political leaders.

✅ Christianity transformed lives:
*It gave people moral structure, hope in suffering, faith in eternity, and reason to forgive, not retaliate.
*Today, millions of people testify of how Jesus delivered them from addictions, cults, abuse, and spiritual darkness.

3. About Pastors and Churches
Yes, some fake pastors exist. Yes, some churches abuse people’s trust for money. But does counterfeit money mean all money is fake? Of course not.
*There are hundreds of thousands of faithful, humble pastors, churches and christians in Nigeria:
*Feeding orphans
*Sponsoring widows
*Preaching peace where politicians sow division
*Praying with fasting days and nights for this nation (I'm one of them by His grace)
*Without them, Nigeria would be a darker, more broken place.

4. You Must Stop Calling People Fools, Idiots and Brainwashed
*Disagreeing with others is your right. But abusing those who challenge your views shows weakness, not strength.
*If your ideas are truly valid:
*Prove them with facts that the Bible is a useless book, no more true churches and are mainly for business, and all pastors are wickedly destroyers.
*Debate them with logic.
*Inspire, don’t insult.
*Name-calling reveals ego, not wisdom. That’s not how a true wise man speaks.

5. If Christianity Is a “Scam,” Why Do You (and nations) Still Use Its Gifts?
*You write in English, a language brought through Christian missions.
*You quote books, post in WhatsApp groups on phones powered by Christian-influenced Western education.
*You enjoy democracy and freedom of speech—ideas born from the Christian worldview of individual worth.

🙏🏽 Final Word
You are welcome to question religion, but not to twist history or mock people’s sacred faith. Christianity has outlived empires, dictators, and haters. It will outlive your campaign too. But we pray for you.
Not with hate.
But that the same Jesus who forgave Saul of Tarsus (a persecutor) will open your eyes. Because in the end: truth doesn’t lose—it only waits.
