The Obidient Movement Akwa Ibom State extends its warmest congratulations to Captain Augustine Okon and his beloved wife on the occasion of their 45th Marriage Anniversary.

This significant milestone is a celebration of four and a half decades of love, commitment, sacrifice, mutual respect, and devotion to family values. Their enduring union stands as a shining example of stability, faith, and togetherness, serving as an inspiration to families and society at large.

As a respected leader and the father of the Obidient Movement Akwa Ibom State, Captain Augustine Okon has continued to demonstrate exemplary leadership, wisdom, and dedication to the growth and progress of the movement. On this special occasion, members of the movement across the state celebrate with him and his family and share in the joy of this remarkable achievement.

The Obidient Movement Akwa Ibom State joins family members, friends, associates, and well-wishers in thanking God for His grace and blessings upon their marriage over the past forty-five years.

Disregard False Claims

The attention of Nigerians, political stakeholders, members of the media, and the international community is hereby drawn to an official disclaimer issued by Mikano International Limited on 22nd July 2022, in which the company categorically refuted reports and publications alleging that His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, GCON, owns or is affiliated with Mikano International Limited or its generator manufacturing and distribution business.

According to the official statement released by the management of Mikano International Limited, the company clearly stated that it is not owned by, not affiliated with, not associated with, not authorized by, not endorsed by, and not in any way officially connected with His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, GCON.

The disclaimer further emphasized that various news reports and press statements linking the former Vice President of Nigeria to the ownership of Mikano Generators do not represent the true facts and should therefore be disregarded by members of the public.

As a media organization committed to truth, factual reporting, and public enlightenment, National Media Frontiers considers it necessary to draw public attention to this official corporate position in order to correct misinformation and prevent the continued circulation of false narratives.

The Facts Are Clear

Mikano International Limited officially stated that Atiku Abubakar does not own the company.

The company confirmed that there is no ownership, partnership, endorsement, or affiliation between Mikano International Limited and Atiku Abubakar GCON.

The general public was advised by the company to disregard reports claiming otherwise.

We therefore call on Nigerians, political commentators, social media users, and media practitioners to rely on verified information, uphold the principles of responsible journalism, and refrain from spreading unsubstantiated claims regarding the ownership of Mikano International Limited.
