Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa, has issued a stern warning to Sheikh Ahmed Gumi and others sympathizing with terrorists and bandits! "A friend of a thief is a thief," Musa said, emphasizing that supporting or excusing terrorism and banditry won't be tolerated.

Musa clarified that framing these crimes as expressions of regional, ethnic, or religious brotherhood is unacceptable. He countered Gumi's previous comments describing bandits as "our brothers," saying such narratives embolden criminal networks devastating communities and claiming innocent lives.

The Defence Minister stressed that terrorism thrives on moral and rhetorical cover, making those who defend or shield criminals responsible for the consequences. "Neutrality is not an option in matters of national security," Musa concluded. "Stand with the law and the nation, or be counted among those enabling criminality."
