Nigeria's Super Eagles secured a respectable third place at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, earning $2.5m (N3.56b) in prize money after defeating Egypt 4-2 in a penalty shootout. Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali was the hero, saving two crucial shots, including one from Mohamed Salah.

Senegal took home the top prize, beating hosts Morocco 1-0 in a thrilling final, thanks to Pape Gueye's extra-time stunner. The champions pocketed a record $10m (N14.23b), with Morocco receiving $4m (N5.69b) as runners-up.

"Neutrality is not an option in matters of national security," Musa concluded. "Stand with the law and the nation, or be counted among those enabling criminality."
