If you need God, 🖊 "Lord, open my door!" 🙏🏽🙏🏽
📖The Lord Jesus said, ‘ Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.’ Matthew 11:28
📗📗📗God says, “When the waters swallow humans whole, I save them from those stagnant waters and give them a chance to live anew. When people lose their confidence to live, I pull them up from the brink of death, granting them the courage to go on so that they can use Me as a foundation for their existence. When people rebel against Me, I cause them to know Me from within their rebellion. In light of humanity’s old nature, and in light of My mercy, rather than putting humans to death, I allow them to repent and make a fresh start. When they suffer famine, even though they have a single breath left in their bodies, I wrest them from death, preventing them from falling prey to Satan’s trickery.”

‎Yesterday evening, I just decided to step outside my apartment to catch some fresh breeze. I had been indoors for days after returning from holiday, so I thought, “Why not?”

I was sitting there, enjoying the air and also receiving my share of congratulations from passersby when my eyes caught Papa Ngozi, my good neighbour and the most “loving husband” in the whole neighborhood.

He was standing at one corner of their building, phone in hand, smiling shéepishly like a lost sheep.

And immediately I saw that smile, I understood it. That phone-smile. That blush. Who doesn’t know it? Unless you’ve never been in love before.

He was blushing like a teenage high school boy who just discovered his first love. He didn’t even notice he was being watched.

Wetin even concern Mercy Idu sef? I tried to take my eyes off him and focus on the surroundings, but curiosity kept póking me, who could he be talking to like that? After all, he’s a married man with kids.

“Maybe it’s his wife o,” I thought to myself.

After a short while, I turned again to see if he was still there. To my greatest surprise this time, Mama Ngozi was standing quietly right behind him. 🙄

She looked so agitáted, like she could explóde any second, while he was still lost in his sweet phone gist.

I almost shouted, “Mama Ngozi good evening oh!” to give Papa Ngozi a little heads up. But before I could, she waved at me quickly with her hand ✋, signaling me to keep quiet. She even pointed again, telling me silently, “Don’t say anything. I’ll come and see you shortly.”

Ok na. I just sat back, waiting for the drama to unfold.

The call got so sweet that Papa Ngozi started using his legs to write God-knows-what on the ground. He was laughing, shaking, doing small acrobatics, while his wife stood there heartbroken, watching him.

Soon, he ended the call with a loud shout:
“Oh my God, this girl will not k!ll me!” 🤭

Ah, that one I heard clearly.

Immediately he turned to head back home, only to meet his wife standing right there behind him. 😏😳😱

Chai! The expression on his face at that moment nearly finished me. I laughed so hard that teárs started rolling down my cheeks. 😂😂

But like I said before, wetin concern Mercy Idu? I quietly carried my chair and went back inside to continue being the good woman that I am.

Once in a while, e good to catch these “good men” red-handed, so they can stop pretending small small. 😋😂💃🏃 I go gîst una wetin happén next if I see goód encóuragement and comment

Hours after I delivered my baby, a mysterious nurse entered the maternity ward. She was tall and plumpy with a nose mask that covered a greater part of her face.

My husband had gone to pick something from home, my sister on the other hand
had gone to look for what to eat. She hasn't eaten anything all evening. The nurses who had attended to me were nowhere to be found either. So I was alone. My bundle of joy was sleeping peacefully in a cot close to my bed.

I was trying to catch some sleep too when this nurse walked in. The first thing that arose my suspicion about her was the way she was moving…like she doesn't want to be noticed. Definitely she thought I was sleeping.

And again, the three nurses that attended to me were slender. I remember that so well. I had overhead my husband when he jokingly asked them if they were siblings. Joy Ifunanya Chukwukeluba

But this one is rather plumpy, taller and..

Who is she? I wondered as I watched her crept towards my baby's cot, bent over and quietly lifted the infant. Next, she turned and started creeping back to the exit. That was when I snapped my eyes open and sprang up.

Although she tried to hide it, I saw the way her body trembled when she noticed I was awake.

“Where are you taking my baby to?”. I asked, my heart beating fast.

She chuckled.

“Hmm, the baby. He…she..we…we want... We need to take her weight. I mean his weight”. She sluttered.

At this point, I was convinced something was off. Cuz I could remember vividly when one of the other nurses had taken baby to a section of the ward were her weight was taken.

“Give me my baby!”. I demanded,
struggling to get down from the bed.

She hesitantly walked over, dropped the baby in my arms and hurried out without another word…

But unfortunately for her, she bumped into my sister in the doorway, causing my sister's food to spill.

“Hold that nurse! She is a thi£f!”. I screamed.

My smart sister☺️☺️ She didn't wait for any explanation. She grabbed the nurse on the waist. I continued screaming and calling out for help as the two struggled. Soon after, the rest of the staff arrived and my sister handed her over.

My dear people, could you believe that when the mask was removed, it was discovered that the lady was neither a nurse nor a staff member in the city hospital.

Now guess who was behind it😲 MY HUSBAND'S HEARTBROKEN EX💔💔

My mother-in-law turned into a fly to kill my baby! Chapter One (1)

Whenever my wife gives birth to a baby, a strange fly will appear from no where, fly round the room, and then disappear. As soon as the fly disappears, the baby would die.

This was a recurring pattern, and I have witnessed it during the six times our six children died!

When my wife got pregnant for the seventh time, I called my mother who was back in the village in Nigeria to tell her the good news. As usual, she was joyous and very happy, as she even asked me to give the phone to my wife so that she could speak with her. During their discussion, my mother congratulated my wife, going as far as praying for her and the life of the baby.

The pregnancy journey went smoothly and our hopes were high. Months later, it was time for delivery, as my wife gave birth to a bouncing baby boy!

We were discharged from the hospital that night amidst our joyous celebration, as our hopes were high!

As soon as we stepped into our living room and relaxed on the cushion after returning back from the hospital, The strange huge fly came again!

This time, I wasn't the only one who saw it, as my wife sighted it too.

Immediately, the fly rounded our sitting room once and then flied towards the newborn baby who was sucking his mom's breast.

It started rounding my new born baby's head as it rounded once, twice........as it was about to round it for the third time, I quickly stood and charged at it, as I chased it till I caught it.

I then opened an empty water bottle, kept the fly in it and covered it.

Thirty (30) minutes later, I got a call from my
village that my Mom was terribly sick!

Immediately.................

To Be Continued.

They said I bought a child. That I valued my looks over carrying a pregnancy. That I was too ashamed to carry a baby without a husband. But they don’t see the deep pain behind my smile.

I’ve lost more pregnancies than I can count. I’ve cried in silence, wiped my tears, and stood tall again. I stopped waiting for the “perfect” man or the “right” time. I was done living by society’s rules. I chose surrogacy—not because I feared motherhood, but because I was ready for it on my own terms. My baby may have grown in another woman’s womb, but she belongs completely to me.

She calls me mummy, and that is the only truth that matters. Let them gossip. Let them judge. I have my child, and I have peace. That is more than enough for my heart.

I woke up and found my mother lying on the floor with her eyes open.

Her lips moved but no sound came out.

I knelt beside her and shook her shoulder. “Mama, what happened?”

She grabbed my wrist with a cold hand. “Do not open the backyard door tonight,” she whispered.

Then she passed out.

I screamed until my father rushed in from outside. We carried her to the hospital.

The doctor said she would be fine but she kept repeating the same warning even in her sleep.

That night, I sat in the living room, wide awake. The wind outside howled like it carried secrets.

At midnight, I heard footsteps behind the backyard door.

I tiptoed closer. Someone was breathing on the other side.

I pressed my ear to the door and heard a man’s voice. “Open it. You belong to us.”

My heart pounded. I wanted to run but my legs were stiff.

Then I heard Mama’s weak voice from the hospital bed in my mind. “Do not open the backyard door tonight.”

The voice outside grew louder. “Open it or your family will pay.”

I backed away and grabbed my phone. I called my father who was still at the hospital.

Before he could answer, the door handle turned slowly on its own.

I screamed a prayer and switched on every light in the house. The sound stopped.

When my father returned with two neighbors, we found a black charm tied to the backyard door handle.

The pastor came in the morning. He said someone in our family’s village had tried to claim our land through dark means.

Mama recovered and told us she saw the man in her dream before she fainted.

The next week, we heard the man died in his sleep. Our land papers were safe.
