While learning in the classroom is great, sometimes lessons are learned by listening to people who have spent years building, leading, creating, and making an impact.
Earlier this year, a group of our senior students attended The Platform Nigeria, where they had the opportunity to hear from accomplished speakers across various fields and engage with ideas that challenged, inspired, and expanded their thinking.
Experiences like these remind us of the power of exposure. When young people encounter big ideas and the people behind them, they begin to see new possibilities for their own lives and futures.
We are grateful to The Platform for creating spaces where learning extends beyond traditional boundaries and meaningful conversations remain accessible to the next generation.
Our Commerce students had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of ProvidusBank where they gained valuable insight into the world of finance, business, and professional excellence.
From engaging sessions and the opportunity to ask questions, the visit gave our students a deeper understanding of commerce, professionalism, and the opportunities that lie ahead. 💙

Open Day was a valuable reminder that a child’s growth is most impactful when parents and educators walk the journey together.
Through meaningful conversations, shared observations, and intentional planning, we continue to build the support system our students need to thrive academically, socially, and personally.
The first half of the term has given us valuable insight; the second half gives us the opportunity to act on it. ✨
As our students begin their Mid-Term Break, we wish them a restful, refreshing, and enjoyable time away. We look forward to welcoming everyone back, recharged and ready for all that lies ahead.

Every Wednesday at Wellspring College, our students step into vocational classes that challenge them to develop practical skills, discover new interests, and turn ideas into tangible results.
Across fields such as technology, media, fashion and lifestyle, creative arts and design, and culinary craftsmanship, students are given opportunities to learn by experience and build skills that extend beyond the classroom.
More importantly, they learn to think creatively, solve problems, take initiative, and create value; qualities that prepare them not only for future careers, but also for leadership and entrepreneurship.
Because raising students to be the best they can be means equipping them with both knowledge and the ability to put it into action.💙

At the Lagos Schools Debate Competition (LSDC), organised by DebateChamp in partnership with the Harvard Debate Society, our students delivered an outstanding performance that earned them:
🏆 Winner in the Senior Category
🎖️ Best Debater in the Senior Category; and
⭐ Undefeated Team in the Tournament
These achievements reflect the confidence, critical thinking, preparation, and excellence our students continue to demonstrate whenever they step onto a competitive stage.
Congratulations to our debaters for representing Wellspring College with distinction and proving, once again, that excellence is best expressed through action.

Today at Wellspring College, we join the global movement for a more informed, supportive, and 💗
In collaboration with Masterpiece Resource Development Centre and Molped, our students will be participating in activities and sessions marking World Menstrual Hygiene Day, creating space for awareness, education, confidence, and healthy conversations around menstrual health. ✨
Empowering girls also means equipping them with knowledge, confidence, and the freedom to learn without shame or stigma. 💗
More than the conversations we had that day, being in a room full of young boys and partaking in the moments that made the day meaningful reminded our boys that growth is a journey, and that becoming the best version of themselves starts with much more than strength, but with character and a hunger to keep learning and becoming the best versions of themselves in the world they live in today.
