We Are 12! OneAfricanChild Is 12! 🎉

It’s been 12 incredible years of listening to our communities, giving back, and growing together. From our Global Citizenship Education programs to our Teachers’ Training, from our Juvenile Support Program to so many other transformational initiatives- every step has been shaped by our amazing educators, learners, partners, stakeholders, volunteers, and beneficiaries.

We are deeply grateful for how far we have come and for the beautiful community that continues to believe in this vision.

Here’s to impact, growth, and greater possibilities in the years ahead.
Happy Anniversary, OneAfricanChild!

Every step we took told a story - a story of hope, of youth choosing education over cybercrime.
Our walk wasn’t just about awareness, it was about action, about reminding our community that fraud doesn’t pay, but education does.

A big shoutout to our team who showed up, spoke up, and stood tall for a fraud-free future. Here’s to raising a generation that chooses purpose over shortcuts, and knowledge over crime 🥂

It’s more than a walk, it’s a movement! October 18, we say No to Cybercrime, Yes to Education!

Last week, our Kwara team visited the Borstal Training Institution in Ganmo for a transformative session on Conflict Resolution and Confidence Building.

Over 230 young boys took part in interactive activities, role plays, and affirmations designed to build peace, resilience, and self-belief. Together, we explored how to turn conflicts into opportunities and strengthen confidence for a better future.

A big thank you to our ever supportive members who showed up to make a positive impact at the centre. Your energy and commitment keep our mission alive.

We are thrilled to have represented the UNESCO GEM Report’s campaign team at the launch of its exciting new partnership with the African Spelling Bee last Friday in Abuja! The campaign was created to champion foundational skills, and this collaboration perfectly aligns with the commitment to ensure every child has access to quality, community-rooted learning opportunities.

The partnership aims to magnify the importance of literacy, foster a love for learning, and strengthen community partnerships. At the event, we were proud to support UNESCO in reflecting how literacy opens doors to brighter futures, how stories and resources can ignite curiosity and confidence, and how grassroots efforts, like those led by OneAfricanChild, can inspire global change.
