On her bold fashion style, she added: “I’m into the bling and the details. Nigerians are extravagant, and I love putting my own spin on things!”

Tems also urged the world to experience Lagos and Ghana firsthand before judging Africa: “Go see it for yourself before making an opinion.”

Growing up, life wasn't luxurious. My family wasn't completely poor, but we faced our share of struggles. There were many days when having a decent meal was uncertain, and paying school fees felt like climbing a mountain. It was tough—sometimes, it felt like we were living through a nightmare.

As a child, I often questioned whether I’d ever have the chance to live out the dreams I held so close. Acting wasn’t something people associated with me. Some thought I was too timid, not made for the spotlight. At some point, I started to believe them too.

But deep down, the desire to act never left. It felt like something I was born to do. So I kept going, pushing myself quietly behind the scenes. There were plenty of moments when I felt like giving up. Getting into Nollywood was anything but easy. But with every challenge, I grew stronger. I started trusting myself more.

Now, looking back, I see that every struggle, every doubt, was part of the journey. I’m not just an actor—I’m someone who chose to believe, even when no one else did.
