Studies, including Japanese research published in the Journal of Medical Entomology , have shown that mosquitoes have distinct preferences:

People with type O are bitten twice as often as those with type A.
Group B arrives in an intermediate position.
Group A is the least targeted.
Estimated bite rates per group (according to some studies):

Group O : approximately 83%
Group B : approximately 66%
Group A : approximately 47%
