There has been hues and cries concerning the hike in air fares in this festive season, airline operators has been called unprintable names, accused of greed and exploitation. For the flight to operate on schedule then the fare will not remain the same.

Even bus transport companies, double their charges because the bus must blow empty out of the affected places, with the higher demand of the bus inbound East, no transport company will wait to have a full bus before returning with increasing demand out there yet the bus must be fueled to return.

Let us be circumspect and understand the rudiments of the these transport companies and reason with them, they are not wicked but market forces.

VISA WAIVER FOR FLIGHT CREW

Both pilots and cabin crews are exempted from visa when on duty for 72 hours to access their destination countries under International Civil Aviation Organization ICAO Annex 9. They must come under General Declaration (Gen Dec) to be able to accorded this waiver.
