Today, we bring you highlights from our Make-Up class, where participants not only learned professional makeup techniques but also explored the art of gele tying.

From basic techniques to practical application, the session was fully hands-on, with participants practicing on one another and building confidence in real time.

The excitement in the room said it all, learning, growth, and beauty in action.

Equipping skills, building confidence πŸ’™

Participants in our Bag Making class got hands-on as they created beautiful purses, earrings, bangles, and African print jotters.

Led by NVP Fashion and her dedicated team, the session was filled with patience, guidance, and a strong commitment to ensuring every participant learned practically.

It was exciting to see the creativity come alive as participants engaged fully, learning not just the craft but the confidence to create and earn.

One of the greatest gifts a family can give a child is an open line of communication.

When children know they can walk up to their parents and talk about ANYTHING and EVERYTHING β€”
without fear, shame, or punishment β€” they are safer, stronger, and more confident.

Open communication:
βœ” builds trust
βœ” strengthens family bonds
βœ” helps children speak up early
βœ” protects children from harm

As parents and caregivers, let’s create homes where children feel heard, supported, and safe enough to speak β€” even when the conversation is uncomfortable.

Let’s build homes where communication is open and love leads the conversation. πŸ’›

Because a child who can talk to their family
is a child who is better protected.
