AHIA OMA N'ERE ONWE YA.

Leadership is something you are born with. You don’t simply earn it; it is inside you. True leaders emerge no matter their background; it just takes time for that leadership to shine.

Nze Charles Asika Agoh (known as Akataka) is a living example of natural leadership, even though he has not yet been elected.

Over the years, he has shown love, care, and open-mindedness to his people, even those living abroad. Any ordinary man in Owerri who meets him will agree: he does not discriminate. His beautiful home in Umuoforihedi, Emeke Agbala, is always open to everyone, at any time. The churches in Agbala, especially the Catholic Church, have greatly benefited from his generosity.

Today, every family in Agbala prays for his success in the upcoming election because they believe that one good deed leads to another.

Akataka, as his friends and family call him, is more than qualified to represent the good people of Owerri federal constituency in the National Assembly. He is articulate, kind, resourceful, determined, and focused. He is not a lazy or greedy politician. His business interests are spread across Owerri and beyond, where he provides good jobs and pays his employees fairly. None of his workers have ever complained about being paid late. He is a successful businessman.

Those days of empty praise are over. We do not believe in hearsay; all these facts can be checked. Go and confirm for yourself if you wish!

The qualities of good leadership are clear in him: effective representation, accountability, accessibility, and strong communication, just to name a few. Now, we must all come together to support this rare leader. Only successful individuals can truly offer effective representation because they do not rely on just allowances or external funds for development.

It is no longer a secret: the future is decided. Owerri Federal Constituency, do not fear—Akataka is here!

AKATAKA VISITS EZIOBODO ATTACK VICTIMS, DONATES FOR TREATMENT, PLEDGES SECURITY SUPPORT

By Team Akataka Media

Nigeria Democratic Congress aspirant for Owerri Federal Constituency, Nze Charles Asika Agoh, (Akataka 1), on Friday visited Eziobodo community in Owerri West LGA to sympathize with victims of a recent bandit attack and to provide immediate assistance for their medical care and local security.

On arriving Eziobodo with his team, Akataka first went to the Community General Hospital, Umuezeala, where a 5-year-old schoolboy injured in the incident was said to be receiving treatment. The child sustained a deep machete cut to the head. The hospital authorities said that they were unable to manage him, hence, they recommended another bigger hospital at Obinze. At the Obinze medical facility, the doctor declined to admit him but ordered a further referral to FMC or General hospital. After speaking with the boy’s father, Akataka handed over an undisclosed sum to assist with his emergency admission and treatment, assuring the family of continued support until the child recovers.

“My priority right now is to ensure this child gets the best medical attention possible. We can not abandon our people in their hour of pain,” Akataka said.

Akataka also met with the youths and members of the Eziobodo community vigilance group. Drawing on his background as a global security expert, he cautioned against downplaying the attack and pledged to provide the community with a drone to monitor suspicious movements in surrounding bush areas. He promised additional logistics support to strengthen the local vigilance outfit.

In the community, Akataka was informed that one of the gunshot victims, a native of Emeabiam resident in Eziobodo, had died a day after the attack due to excessive bleeding. He extended condolences to the bereaved family and reiterated his commitment to working with stakeholders to improve security in the area.

The intervention followed an assault on Eziobodo by suspected armed bandits a few days earlier. According to residents, more than ten gunmen ambushed the community, firing shots and attacking residents with machetes.

The father of the injured boy recounted that he was taking his two children home on a motorcycle from their school in Ihiagwa to Eziobodo at about 7:30 p.m. when they encountered a roadblock. On approaching it, he said, armed men emerged from the bush and signalled him to stop.

Sensing danger, he sped off. The assailants pursued him, firing several shots. During the chase, one attacker struck the boy with a machete.

In the course of the attack, a woman and her two children were abducted. Their whereabouts remain unknown as of the time of this report.

The incident has renewed calls for stronger security measures in Owerri West and Owerri North LGAS, where a pattern of attack has become common. Community leaders who received Akataka welcomed the intervention and urged security agencies to intensify patrols and intelligence gathering in the areas, stressing that Eziobodo people are grateful to Nze Akataka for his love and support, not just for the victims but the community at large. They berated the state government for its non challant disposition towards the plight of citizens of the community in a critical situation of this nature.
