Recently, a man said to me at a gathering that women are not allowed to sit in the gathering of men and that It was an insult for me to speak. He went further saying a woman has no place in the men's world.
Really!

This man claimed to be educated but clearly he isn't. I pity his wife, the woman looks lost most times and judging by her husband's utterances, one could tell the pathetic situation she's found herself.

What gives me joy in all of this was the way my husband stood up to him and told him off. He gave myself and the other woman in that gathering a voice.

Mr 'educated' said it was an insult to be told not to speak to me/women in such a manner, he claimed that's how it is where he came from and that's how it should@ be.

Ladies and gentle men, I'm glad to tell you that after all said and done, he sat there and listened while i schooled him on how he should treat women with respect and even if he still chooses to be disrespectful, I should be off his list.
I'm proud of myself.👏👏👏

My question is, Is this theory still valid? Are we really not allowed to air our opinions?
