Teaching pr***en girls about menstrual hygiene is not optional—it is essential.

Many girls step into this phase of life confused, unprepared, and sometimes ashamed, simply because no one had the conversation with them early enough.
She needs to understand how her body works. She needs to know how to properly fix a pad, how often to change it (every 3–4 hours or as needed), and how to stay clean and comfortable throughout her cycle. She should also be guided on practical things like the type of underwear to wear—well-fitted, breathable cotton pants that provide proper support and reduce discomfort.

But beyond the physical, she needs emotional reassurance. She must not feel embarrassed about what is natural. She must feel safe to ask questions without fear or shame.

This education must begin at home—with parents and guardians taking responsibility to prepare her before her first period, not after. When we delay these conversations, we leave her to learn from peers, misinformation, or silence.

Help her understand. Help her prepare. Help her feel confident.
Handle this stage of her life with care, wisdom, and intentional love.

Empowering girls, one pad at a time!

At Wise Walk Foundation, we believe every girl deserves to manage her period with dignity. Today, we’re thrilled to receive these generous supplies of sanitary pads that will go directly to schoolgirls in need.

Access to menstrual products is not a luxury—it’s a right.

This is another step in breaking the barriers that keep girls out of school during their periods.

Thank you to all our supporters who continue to make this mission possible.
