My heart is too heavy.
As I was returning home from a prayer gathering today, May 31st, 2026, I opened my phone and saw the heartbreaking image of a school principal who was abducted alongside teachers and innocent children. More than two weeks have passed, and they are still in captivity. I watched her husband crying and begging for help. I watched a family living a nightmare no family should ever experience.
Since then, I have not been myself.
I keep asking one question: What if it were my family?
What if one of those children was my niece, my nephew, or my own child?
What if one of those teachers was my sister, my brother, or someone I love?
Would we still be carrying on as if nothing happened?
Every kidnapped child belongs to all of us. Every teacher taken from a classroom is an attack on every teacher in Nigeria. Every family crying tonight deserves to know that they have not been forgotten.
A country without security is a country where fear becomes part of daily life. How can parents send their children to school with peace of mind? How can teachers stand before a classroom knowing they could become the next headline?
I am heartbroken.
I am angry.
I am tired of seeing Nigerians cry while those entrusted with protecting lives appear unable or unwilling to act with the urgency this situation demands.
Perhaps some people will disagree with me, but I feel that our schools, our teachers, our parents, and our communities should not pretend that everything is normal. There is nothing normal about children and educators remaining in captivity while the nation moves on with business as usual.
Today, I am not writing as a content creator.
I am writing as a Nigerian.
I am writing as someone who feels the pain of those families.
I am writing as someone who believes that the life of every child matters.
May those still in captivity return home safely.
May comfort find the families who are crying.
And may we never become so used to these tragedies that we stop feeling them.
Nigeria, we cannot continue like this.

π WE NEVER EVEN FINISH CRYING OVER THE OYO SCHOOLCHILDRENβ¦ ANOTHER ABDUCTION HAS HAPPENED AGAIN IN ZAMFARA
Reports say five women have now been abducted in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State, with the kidnappers allegedly threatening to kill them if ransom is not paid quickly.
Honestly, this country is entering a very dangerous situation emotionally and psychologically.
π Nigerians are barely recovering from the pain and fear surrounding the abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State, and now another kidnapping incident is already making headlines again.
At this point, many citizens no longer even know which tragedy to mourn first.
People are afraid to travel. Parents are afraid for their children. Families now sleep with fear instead of peace.
βοΈ The primary duty of every government remains the protection of lives and property. But sadly, many Nigerians now feel abandoned, helpless, and emotionally exhausted by the constant reports of kidnappings across the country.
Because honestly⦠how did survival become this difficult in Nigeria?
May God protect every innocent person still in captivity and comfort their families. ππ

Last night, my child was healthy, smiling, and full of life. We went to bed with hearts at peace, never imagining that everything would change before morning. But when I woke up today, my worst nightmare had become realityβmy precious child was gone.
I keep asking myself, "Why?" Why would such a beautiful, innocent soul be taken so suddenly? Why does it feel like life keeps dealing me unbearable pain? My heart is shattered into pieces, and the emptiness left behind is beyond words. No parent should ever have to wake up to this kind of heartbreak.
The laughter that filled my world is now a painful memory, and the silence is deafening. I would give anything for one more hug, one more smile, one more moment.
Today, I am drowning in grief, struggling to understand a loss that feels impossible to bear. ππποΈ

Celebrating mum ππππ₯³πππππβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Here is the story π
πΊ Celebrate Them While Theyβre Here πΊ
Today, we celebrate a rare and precious jewel β Mama, 114 years strong.
Her eyes have seen generations rise. Her hands have carried not just children, but legacies. Her voice has whispered wisdom, comfort, and strength in moments we thought we couldnβt go on.
Yet even with all she has given, she asks for little⦠just love, respect, and time.
Too often, we wait until someone is gone to say the kindest words, to gather in honor, to bring flowers. But today, we choose differently. We choose to celebrate Mama while she can see our smiles, hear our laughter, and feel our love.
Let this be your reminder:
ποΈ Call that elder.
ποΈ Visit them.
ποΈ Say thank you.
ποΈ Celebrate them β not in their absence, but in their presence.
As you read this, may you live long and full β you will not die young. You will celebrate at 114, and dance into 160 years with joy and strength in Jesusβ name. ππ½β¨
Mama, you are our living treasure.
