SUMMARY OF DAY 2 CLASS ON 2D ANIMATION AND INTERFACE OF ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
*2D Animation (Using RenderForest) as explained by the facilitator, Fajobi Monday Peter.*
We will be delving into the business of 2D animation.
Before we proceed I will like to give the meaning of *Animation.*
*Animation is a method in which figures are manipulated to appear as moving images.*
*Types of Animations.*
Traditional Animation.
Stop Motion.
2D Animation.
3D Animation.
Motion Graphics.
Whiteboard Animation.
In the term“2D animation”
2D stands for two-dimensional, meaning that 2D artists create images and characteristics in the two-dimensional format and enliven them with movement. This type of animation is regarded to be the traditional form of animation with plain, non-voluminous characters moving up, down, left, and right.
The best marketing tool in the whole world according to research is 2D animation. 💯
Different software is used to create 2D animation. One of the best software is "Render forest"
Render forest app has varieties of function which is used in the world of graphics. 💯
Check the short video sent to the group on step-by-by how to use the app.
The second lecture begins immediately after.
*Interface of Adobe Illustrator as explained by the facilitator, Adeyemo Damola A.*
First, what does Adobe Illustrator means?
Adobe Illustrator is a professional vector-based design and drawing program, used as part of a larger design workflow, Illustrator allows for the creation of everything from single design elements to entire compositions. Designers use Illustrator to create posters, symbols, logos, patterns, icons, etc.
Vector graphics are computer graphics images that are defined in terms of points on a Cartesian plane, which are connected by lines and curves to form polygons and other shapes.
You can download a template, open it on Adobe Illustrator, save it as AI, send it from esp and bring it down to core draw for your edges. You can edit Adobe Illustrator templates on Corel draw.
Check the illustrating video sent to video sent to the class by the facilitator on step-by-step instructions on how to design with Adobe Illustrator.
Thanks.

SUMMARY OF YESTERDAY'S CLASS ON PIXELLAB
Graphics Design (Pixellab as explained by the facilitator, Adeyemo Damola)
The tutor began by explaining what graphic design is and giving the levels in graphics design.
4 levels in Graphics Design
1. Professional designers
2. Intermediate designers
3. Beginners in graphic design
4. People with no knowledge at all
*What is graphic design?*
To simply put, graphic design is a craft where professionals create visual content to communicate messages. So, the major purpose of design is to communicate messages. While the person or professional that does the design is called a graphic designer.
*Dividing graphics into two major aspects:*
1. AI Graphics
Explanation👇
1. *What is AI Graphics?*
In this type of graphic design, whether or not you have a good knowledge of how to make designs, you will be able to do a presentable design for your clients. With the help of artificial intelligence, people have been able to design like professionals.
*How does this happen?*
Here, they mostly make use of already made designs called Templates. These templates have been designed by professionals for you to edit and retouch.
Examples are canva.com, crello.com, postermywall.com, and many others. You can explore these sites for yourself. This is the same in Motion Graphics.
AI graphics is for lazy people.
2. Creative Design
*What is Creative Design?*
Here, it requires creativity. You create designs from your imagination, mastery, and so on. To be able to do this, you must learn of the concepts in graphics and also the tools.
A Graphic designer is a professional within the graphic design and graphic arts industry who assembles images, typography, or motion graphics to create a piece of design. A graphic designer has solutions for graphic designs/art problems. He is a design or an art doctor.
*You see, it’s a profession! That’s why not everybody can do it.*
Just like a mechanic knows how to put parts of a machine together to make it work, the same way a graphic designer assembles images, typography, etc to communicate a message.
*Below are some of the types of graphic designs we have:*
1. ART AND ILLUSTRATIONS
2. ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHIC DESIGN
3. PACKAGING GRAPHICS
4. MOTION GRAPHICS
Make a research on the above mentioned.
An example of motion graphics is this.
You can remove picture backgrounds with your phone through this site: visit www. remove.bg
Make sure the picture has a fairly uniform background for better output.
*ELEMENTS OF DESIGN* There are many elements of design. But these two are very important:
1. Colouration
2. Typography (font or text)
Take note of these *super hints on both of them*
1. Don't use too bright colours and too many colours.
2. Don't use too many fonts when you're designing.

Not all problems are spiritual
I was in a church (name withheld) a few months ago, to meet the regional overseer for an important media issue. On getting to the church, I was told by the secretary that I'd to wait for some minutes cause he (the RO) was in a meeting with his senior pastors.
While waiting, I noticed a young lady with her mother, surrounded by few pastors. I was curious to know what was wrong with the lady that made those pastors surround her in that manner. So I moved closer to the spot they were so I could hear what went wrong. I overheard one of the pastors, complaining that demons are tormenting the girl. Amid the pastor's negative comments, he also applauded the young lady by describing her as a brilliant girl, who doesn't like to go to school - she has always been forced to go to school by her mother. And when she eventually goes, she is always ahead of her classmates that are invariably present in school.
They said she needed to be delivered from the claimed demons that are tormenting her. In other words, they would be doing few hours of deliverance to pray for the young lady. As they were praying, the young lady was just smiling. I believe what was running through her mind then was that: "what is wrong with these people?" She was sluggish in the way she was praying, this made some of the pastors to be angry. Her mother tried every means to make her pray like a prayer warrior but all to no avail.
The pastor that sat beside me became irregular, started narrating the story to me unconsciously. During the conversation, I told him, " what if the girl is being influenced by a friend and not necessarily a spiritual problem? Or what if the girl just wants to learn a skill and become independent as an entrepreneur." He started giving me reasons they all believed she had been possessed. You know the religious leaders of this era and they usually have spiritual meaning for everything.
Two seconds later, I was called by the secretary that the Regional Overseer is ready to see me. I went straight but that scenario did not retire from my mind since that very day.
This is an opportunity for us all to know that in as much as it is important to inculcate the spirit of going to school and getting the certificate in our wards, it is necessary we also help them create a better future by giving them space to learn one or two digital skills. Those skills are not for their today but to better and prosper their future.
That is why Seed Developers are here to train you and your wards the business of graphics design (Pixellab, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Video Animation) through smartphone or PC. The Seed Developers are also adding the bonus of of teaching you Content Creation.
Wait no further cause the training is starting on 14th of October and it is mainly on Whatsapp. To join the class, check the link in the comment section, click and it would talk you to the group.

Help! Help! Help!
These were our voices after we're held captive by young, hungry-looking men of the deadly insurgent group, Boko-Haram. We shouted days and nights, begged for help, sang holy songs - hoped to be free from the captivity of the Egyptians, so we could ooze out the statement at the end that: "...the Egyptians we see today, we shall see no more..."
We struggled, some died along the line, while others fainted. A friend of mine and I mapped out different strategies that could earn us our freedom. One of those plans was to bargain with them, which is a bad idea, anyway. Another way was to look for an escape route, which was very difficult to get because we were in an enclosed place, which in our imagination, was not too far from heaven's gate.
The ladies amidst us were already frightened, crying like newborn babies. Their crying voices did not make us concentrate well on our plans. We tried to console them but all to no avail. At a point, it was as if they were all tired of crying - they all stopped. So my friend and I continued the brainstorming on our strategies. After 5 hours of 'militarian escaping' plans, we agreed on the plan that would help everybody held captive. We shared the plan with them and many concurred with it, but few were not in support. Those not in support of the plan stood akimbo, gave their reasons. We all understood their reasons, however, we had no choice but to work on something. We agreed on the time to take action.
And you know what? I woke up from my dream. So I created a story of captivity and freedom and turned it into cartoon animation, with the help of Seed Developers, I was able to design my characters and my settings were topnotch. I was also given a spot in their forthcoming '3days free graphics design training for beginners and professionals starting from 14th to 16th of October' to teach people in the business of content creation. Isn't that a huge opportunity? Don't be left out. It is an opportunity, don't miss out.

Earlier in my life, I had familiarized myself with people that work in the content creation industry. And I had understudied many content creators and marketers, who are later known today as influencers in most of the social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp. People like Olumide GlowVille, Pamilerin (PamPam), Akpoko Doctor, and many others I can't mention now.
Studying these influencers and the training I had in the business of content creation has helped me to be relevant in my brand and the profession I chose to study in school (mass communication). I became aware of things in the content creation business earlier enough that added to the rebranding of Black Pride Magazine, which many of you knew me with, to Black Media Brands (now parental body).
In my journalistic practices, I became strategic in dealing with some issues of discussion. There was a time I applied for journalistic work without looking thoroughly into the brand I was applying for. After my submission, I went through the website and read most of the stories and the terms therein, I became disturbed and within myself, I said: ”...if I am eventually called for interview, I will deliberately not put any effort into it...” Lo and behold, I was messaged, interviewed, and later told to write an article. I know you're wondering why I decided not to put effort into the interview and the article. It is simple. I realized right on time that if I start working with that brand, I wouldn't have much time to focus on myself. I wish to have a flexible working term, not one that would make me feel in a cage, restricted to my developing brand.
I was intentional. Focused. Determined. And ready to learn. It got to a point, I realized while thinking about my brand, Black Media Brands that I would need to learning basics things about graphics and video editing. So, I started to learn, unlearn and relearn. During these processes, I was invited by people of likes minds (Seed Developers) to join their group. I took it upon myself to learn as much I can from their various compendium of knowledge. After few months with them, I could design anything but my focus is on Logo designs. With my intensive knowledge in content creation and that of graphics design, I don't stress myself to find designers again whenever my brand needed them.
