For years, everyone believed me and my male best friend were secretly dating
Secondary school → University → Law school, we did almost everything together.
But the funny thing is, nothing ever happened between us. We even used to joke that we would prove everybody wrong .
I already said YES to another man’s proposal
But my best friend, who just separated from his wife, is now begging me to marry him because “nobody understands him like I do.”
Now I’m confused.
Should I follow the man I said YES to, or the friend that has known me almost my whole life?
