CECAD was established and incorporated in June 2015 with Nigeria's Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Its aim is to promote cyber responsibility by Internet users at the local, regional, national and international levels. Through advocacy and public education, CECAD seeks to affect African affairs positively in its attempt at modifying 'cyber behaviour' in the information superhighway through engagement of users on diverse platforms.
