Do you still see Rainbows?

04/09/2025

Every Sunday, I go to church and hear them praying for “Nigeria in distress.” And honestly? I feel a cocktail of emotions, sadness, disappointment, confusion, and a strong desire to relocate spiritually. I mean, how are we still praying the same prayer from 1993 in HD quality, with surround sound? At this point, even God is like, “My children, are you okay?”

Yes, leadership in Nigeria is like a badly written Nollywood script same actors, same plot, different agbada. But the real twist? We, the masses, are not just audience members, we’re co-writers. We vote for people who can't manage a WhatsApp group and expect them to manage a nation. We shout “my brother, my tribe, my church member” and ignore the fact that these people are stealing us into generational poverty. Then four years later, we queue again with sachet water and vibes, ready to repeat the cycle. How do we explain this to our grandchildren?

Look, Nigeria doesn’t need more prayers, it needs fewer people selling their votes for rice and ₦2k. We need to retire some politicians like expired drugs and upgrade our brains like iOS. Until we fix our thinking, we’ll keep praying in distress while living in the same Nigeria group chat of dysfunction. The joke is on us and unfortunately, it's not funny anymore.

Vote with sense. Stop romanticizing failure. Challenge nonsense even if it wears a native attire and speaks your language. Let’s stop playing ourselves before the country finishes all of us.

🎙️ If I start to talk... e no go end! There are songs you sing, and then there are songs you feel. Tiwa Savage’s “If I Start to Talk” is one of those rare gems that tells a story of survival, gratitude, and strength in the face of life’s hardest battles. I connected deeply with this track, and I had to pour my heart into this cover.

This song isn’t just music, it’s a testimony. It speaks to anyone who's had to walk through fire and still show up with a smile. We've all had moments when words weren't enough to explain what we've been through, but somehow, music fills the gap. This is for the ones who’ve been counted out, held on to faith, and come out stronger. If you know what it means to hold it all together when no one sees the struggle, this one is for you.

🎧 Hit play, let the lyrics wash over you, and if it resonates, leave a comment, share it, or tag someone who needs this today. Your story matters — and sometimes, music says it best. 💛

🎙️"Close your eyes and come and see..." — Sounds confusing right?

When I first heard that line from Oyo Meyo, I paused. How do you close your eyes and still see? 🤔But then it hit me:
Sometimes, the clearest vision comes when your eyes are shut
you have to shut your eyes to the doubt, the fear, and just believe.

This song reminded me of something powerful:You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to start. The likes of Otedola and Dangote doesn’t have two heads. They simply found their thing — and ran with it.

You might not be big in business like they are or be good in music like Wizkid but you have something they don’t: your own unique gift.Something the world is waiting to see. So stop hiding it. Stop doubting it. Stop waiting for perfect timing.Stop procrastinating abi na postcastinatin we the call am.🙂

You don’t have to be 100% ready. You don’t need to know how it’ll all work out.Start messy. Start unsure. But for God’s sake — START.

I didn’t know exactly what I was doing when I recorded this cover. Heck, I didn’t even know what to write as this caption — but here I am, writing anyway, singing anyway, believing anyway.

Because that’s what faith looks like. That’s what “Oyo Meyo” is about.Victory. Joy. Fulfillment — even after the struggle.

So if you’re reading this, take it as a sign. This is your push. Take the first step. Do it afraid.
Do it now.
And let God handle the rest.

🙏💥 Play the video. Feel the message. Share the joy.
This is my version of “Oyo Meyo” — and I hope it inspires you like it did me. 💛

Getting a solid eight hours of sleep every day is super important for our bodies. But sticking to that can be pretty tough sometimes.

🎙️ This song gave me chills the first time I heard it — now I’ve poured my heart into covering it.

Kuliko Jana by Sauti Sol — a song that’s more than music; it’s a spiritual experience. Originally featuring the RedFourth Chorus, this powerful piece speaks of God’s love growing deeper with each passing day.

It reminded me that even in our struggles, we’re never alone. His grace is constant, His love is stronger today than yesterday. 🙏

🎧 Tap the video, feel the emotion, and if it resonates — drop a ❤️, share it in your stories, or tag someone who needs this message. Let’s spread the light together.

Happy Sunday. Have a lovely day🫂
