Direct Entry is the way of gaining University admission without JAMB and you’d be admitted “directly” into 200 Level.

✅ The first step for all DE aspirants Aspiring into FUNAAB is by purchasing the Jamb DE form...

This is compulsory in order to obtain a Jamb Registration Number.

This is the first step for all DE aspirants (OND, HND, NCE, JUPEB).

✅ Must Choose Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) as Most Preferred Institution.

✅ After completing your JAMB DE registration or regularization, the next step is to Wait for FUNAAB to release their 2026 Admission Application Form for DE candidates.

✅ You also need to Understand that DE Admission is based on your CGPA or total points obtained from your previous qualification.

✅ Candidates must possess a minimum of Upper Credit in their OND/HND/NCE or must have at least two A-Level passes in relevant subjects (JUPEB)

✅ All DE Aspirants will also be asked to submit their academic transcripts few days after the release of the D.E Screening Form

Transcript For (OND/HND/NCE candidates) or Certified True Copy of Statement of Results duly stamped by Director/HOD of the institution graduated from (A'level candidates) must be submitted directly to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture

𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗔𝗔𝗕 𝗔𝗗𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗨𝗧𝗠𝗘

✅ If you're intending to gain admission into FUNAAB must note that only candidates who select FUNAAB as their first choice, or willing to switch their institution to FUNAAB as their first choice will be eligible for admission.

✅ You must be at least 16yrs of age

✅ Aspirants of FUNAAB must have a minimum score of 160 marks. However, candidates scoring below 200 marks will not be considered for admission into competitive courses like vet medicine, Engineering etc..

✅ Applicants must have at least five Credit Passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in relevant subjects, with not more than two sittings

✅ Your UTME subjects combination must correlate to the course you want to study

✅ Participate in the Post UTME screening exercise conducted by FUNAAB. The screening exercise is usually done online through the FUNAAB Aspirants portal.

FUNAAB Screening Date is yet to be announced. However, it is believed that it will announced on or before July 2026.

✅ Don't choose competitive courses with Low UTME score with Low O'level result.

So make sure you do the necessary things before the form comes out, no excuses once the form is out!

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the following eight undergraduate programmes for FUNAAB:

- B.Sc. Cyber Security (COLPHYS)

- B.Sc. Information Systems (COLPHYS)

- B.Sc. Software Engineering (COLPHYS)

- B.Sc. Information and Communication Technology (COLPHYS)

- B.Sc. Information Technology (COLPHYS)

- B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry(COLPHYS)

Notably, six of these programmes fall under the broad discipline of Computer Science, prompting the creation of three new departments to house two programmes each.

✅ Age requirement still remains 16+

✅ FUNAAB JAMB cut-off mark is 160 for most courses, while competitive courses may require 200 & above

✅ Candidate must have a minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results (C6 and above)

✅ FUNAAB accepts two sittings for all courses

✅ FUNAAB only considers first-choice applicants irrespective of JAMB score

✅ FUNAAB conducts online screening, not Post-UTME

✅ Avoid choosing high competitive courses if your screening score, UTME score, or O’Level result is low
