Meet Mrs. Aliu Mariam, a passionate Basic 2 Educator at Lagos Island East Montessori Nursery and Primary School, Ita Faji Branch.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Mrs. Mariam embodies the true spirit of education — Patience, Passion, and Purpose. 💫

She designs her lessons to accommodate every learner’s unique style — whether LAG, HAG, or MAG — ensuring that every child feels seen, confident, disciplined, and prepared for real-life challenges. 🏫✨

Her inspiration as an educator comes from a deep desire “to build, nurture, and prepare kids for the best in life.”

Driven by growth, she has attended numerous seminars and conferences — both virtual and onsite — learning, unlearning, and relearning to meet her learners’ diverse needs. 📚💪

Her advice to fellow educators:

“There’s no limitation to knowledge. Keep learning, unlearn and relearn. Don’t fear mistakes — learn from them, stay disciplined, and welcome corrections.”
