If you're just gaining admission into the university, congratulations. 🎉
But while you're focusing on your degree, don't forget to build a skill that can make you money outside your certificate.

Learn something digital. Learn how to sell. Learn how to create. Learn how to solve problems online.
Imagine spending 4–5 years in school while also building a digital skill, an audience, a business or an online income stream.
By the time you graduate, you may not be starting from zero or desperately searching for a job.
And parents, please encourage your children to learn these things too. School is important, but having a skill and knowing how to make money from it is also valuable.

I used to be scared of speaking in front of people. During presentations, my heart would race, I'd shake, and sometimes I'd forget what I wanted to say.

Then a classmate laughed at me while I was speaking. That made my fear of being judged even worse, so I started avoiding public speaking.
Later, I became a General Secretary in my Muslim community, where I had to read meeting minutes in front of several committees. I was nervous, but I kept doing it, and gradually, I got better.

I'm still afraid of speaking in front of a crowd, but not like before. In fact, making talking-head videos is one of the biggest fears I've overcome this year. The more I do it, the better I get.

I'm waiting for the day I'll speak in front of a crowd again. This time, I'll stand my ground.
I've realized that your brain may tell you something is impossible until you actually try it. Once you attempt it, you give your brain proof that you can do it.

Sometimes, you don't need confidence before starting.
Starting is what builds the confidence.
