I still maintain that Manchester United should approach every game with the expectation of winning, but this is only my second time watching Hull City since our opening-week defeat and these guys are seriously good.

Not elite, but definitely a good side. I’m becoming more respectful of them and honestly, less angry about that defeat.

Man City look far more beatable than their results suggest. Their results are one thing, but watching them play is a completely different story.

I see absolutely no reason for any United fan to fear the Manchester derby next week.

If we play our game, Carrick ball will be their kryptonite.

For a fact, Heaven and Yoro would be starting for Barcelona without fear. I understand the argument that United don’t give young players enough room, but here’s the real question:

Are United fans actually ready to watch these youngsters make mistakes without immediately turning on them?

Everton’s compact low block could make this a game where we need more movement, creativity and presence between the lines.

Carrick saying he’s happy with the squad after INEOS’ poor transfer window was never going to surprise me.

He’s the manager, of course he’ll handle it diplomatically rather than publicly question the club and risk destabilising the team.

Anyone expecting otherwise is either mad or has no real-world experience.

But read between the lines and you can tell he wanted more. He’s been let down and if this project goes wrong, he’ll probably be the first one sacrificed.

That’s the brutal part… the people above create the conditions, but the manager usually pays the price.

Everton game feels like a proper measuring stick for this United side. We’ve only played two league games, but the result and performance in this one could tell us a lot about what level we can realistically reach this season. 👀🔴

Still crazy that some United fans backed Sancho after Ten Hag said he was dropped for “training performance reasons.”

Sancho himself was dumb enough to fall for the hype and respond on social media, claiming he had “been a scapegoat for a long time.”

Fast-forward to today and Jadon Sancho is still without a club after his contract expired.

Maybe keeping quiet would’ve served him better.
