A true Man United fan wouldn’t care who gets benched as long as the results are coming.

That level of scrutiny and questioning of team selection only becomes valid when the results are consistently poor.

Results dictate the narrative.

If we somehow end up getting someone like Enrique, then judging by how PSG play, I can only see Bruno, Mainoo, Cunha, Lammens and maybe Heaven still being at the club in the next 14 months.

I highly doubt most United fans would fully support this kind of rebuild, especially given how sentimental they can be about certain players.

I think Manchester United are weighing up, do they want a young manager like Nagelsmann that, much like Ruben Amorim, is actually a bit of a maverick and that gets the best out of players, but he hasn't got a proven track record of being a project manager and definitly the manner in which he's left previous jobs have raised alarms with other clubs that have looked.

When you realise that the World Cup is this summer and nobody will care about Arsenal winning the league or the Champions League (if they could even beat PSG, a very big IF).

Joshua Zirkzee is an interesting one. One thing I’ll give him is that he genuinely feels like a positive presence. He doesn’t moan about a lack of game time and seems to be a glue figure in the dressing room.

I also think we undervalue him, his technical level is right up there. He can do and see things most can’t in that position. He’s too good to be on the bench.

Zirkzee would benefit from a move away from Manchester United, not because he isn’t at the required level, but because I don’t think he’ll ever be fully trusted by a United manager or consistently given game time.

Still, selfishly, I really hope he stays at Manchester United, regardless of interest from other clubs that could guarantee him more playing time.

Arsenal could definitely beat PSG, but I think Mikel Arteta will be surprised by the level PSG showed last night.

That was a top-class European away performance. They completely shut down Bayern Munich and controlled the game with maturity and intensity.

Arteta is coming up against a manager in Luis Enrique who can adapt to almost any style of football…

PSG can play all out attacking football that will rip any team to shreds. They can play haram ball, sit back and play more pragmatically because they have intelligent and flexible players who adjust quickly to different situations.

Can hurt teams with both raw physicality and pure technicality, nearly every player in that team is comfortable carrying the ball and beating opponents.

Arteta has a serious challenge ahead of him.

The managers we’ve had and even the players, all carry some responsibility, but ultimately the biggest share of the blame lies with the owners for how the club has been run.

I don’t have full confidence in Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox either. Wilcox has shown some significant signs of incompetence in his decision-making.

However, we can still holding onto hope that, based on their experience in football especially as former City executives and as key figures close to the ownership, they will learn from their mistakes and gradually fix the structural issues at the club.

It’s a lot of hope, but that’s where we are right now.

There’s a common belief that Arsenal would get blown away in the final, but I don’t agree. They have the ability to frustrate any team defensively. It may not always look attractive, but they’re capable of shutting games down and staying compact.

Yes, PSG and Bayern have been wickedly dominant this season, scoring for fun. But you guys keep forgetting that finals don’t have anything to do with form, finals are anybody’s game.

Unlike most opponents who sit deep and force a slow, tactical battle, similar to what you’d see against Atlético Madrid, PSG or Bayern will most definitely come forward and commit players. That plays into Arsenal’s hands.

And If Arsenal stay disciplined at the back, they will definitely leave space behind and that’s where Arsenal can hurt them on the counter. With the quality they have and a clear structure in place, I’d give them roughly a 40% chance in that final.

I lowkey feel for Cunha in advance if the club signs a solid left winger.

Whenever he plays wide, he has shown some really good 1v1 ability. I don’t mind him moving inside, especially when Dorgu is playing behind him at left-back. That balance might work.

However, the left side as a whole needs to be fixed in the summer. The player profiles in that position, don’t fully complement each other in an elite level, the profiles clash too much and Shaw unfortunately offers very little in the final third.
