Enzo Maresca never had control of the Chelsea team. Was forced to work with the players he didn’t sign, and got questioned when he didn’t play some players.

It’s a good thing he left the club. I no longer recognise Chelsea Football Club.

Signing players they feel like for commercial reasons, and forces the manager to get the best out of them.

They are heading down the same path as Manchester United.

Club owners who are Americans have no idea about football, just business. That’s what United are suffering at the hands of the Glazers.

Maresca was bold to step away.

After the Bournemouth draw, seeing Enzo Maresca avoid the press and send his assistant says a lot. Not because he’s weak, but because he’s caught in something bigger than him.

Before we start blaming Maresca alone, Chelsea fans must first answer one thing:

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE PROJECT?

When Boehly and Clearlake took over:
• They sacked a Champions League–winning coach
• Sold experienced, proven players
• Spent billions on young, unproven talents
• And kept saying one word: “Project”

But till today, no one has clearly explained it.

Let’s rule things out 👇

❌ It’s not about winning now
A club that wants to win does not rely heavily on kids with zero top-level pressure experience.

❌ It’s not about competing for every trophy
You don’t rotate managers every season and still claim long-term stability.

❌ It’s not about stadium development
There’s no clear, aggressive movement on Stamford Bridge redevelopment yet.

So what could the project be?

The harsh truth

The project looks more like a financial and trading model, not a football one.
• Buy young players cheap
• Give them minutes
• Increase their market value
• Sell some later for profit
• Stay “competitive enough” to protect commercial value

Football success seems secondary, not the priority.

That’s why:
• Managers look confused
• Tactics change every few months
• Players look unsure of their roles
• Results feel accidental, not planned

Maresca may actually be more confused than the fans, because he’s expected to:
• Play attractive football
• Develop youngsters
• Get results
• And do all that without the tools or time to build a winning team

So before we destroy Maresca, Chelsea fans must first demand clarity from the owners.

Because you can’t judge a manager when:
• The target is unclear
• The squad is unbalanced
• And “project” is just a word with no definition

Until Chelsea clearly says:

“This season we want X, in two years we want Y”

…this cycle will continue.

And more managers will “run away from the press.”

Information reaching my desk suggest that formal Barcelona Coach XAVI HERNANDEZ Might become Chelsea's new MANAGER.

Since Enzo Fernandez joined Chelsea he’s had the following managers:

• Graham Potter
• Bruno Saltor
• Frank Lampard
• Mauricio Pochettino
• Enzo Maresca

Well, I love New things which includes new coaches because you don't really know what to expect wether good or bad, but I really wish Marasca could stay for one more season.

They sacked Tuchel because he refused to be controlled.

He didn’t want to sit down quietly while people who don’t understand football were making decisions for him.
He wanted to have a say in transfers and football matters.
That was why they removed him.

They sacked Pochettino because he was asking for experienced players.
Players that have played big matches before.
Players that know how to handle pressure, bad runs, and tough games.
Instead of listening to him, they saw his request as a problem.

Now they want to sack Maresca because he is asking for quality players.
Not many players.
Not young players just for the future.
But players that can improve the team immediately and help Chelsea compete.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the problem with Chelsea’s owners and sporting directors.
Any manager that speaks up gets sacked.
Any manager that asks for better players becomes “difficult”.
They don’t want strong managers.
They want managers that will agree with everything and keep quiet.

Chelsea used to be a club with high standards.
A club that wanted to win now, not later.
But today, it feels like ambition is no longer important.

You cannot build a strong team if you keep sacking managers for telling the truth.
You cannot succeed if you ignore experience and quality.

This is not Tuchel’s fault.
It was not Pochettino’s fault.
And it will not be Maresca’s fault.
The real problem is the people making decisions at the top.

Until they allow managers to do their job properly, this same problem will not continue.
New manager, same issues.
