Three English clubs reached European finals this season… and two have already finished the job.
🏆 Aston Villa conquered the Europa League.
🏆 Crystal Palace shocked Europe in the Conference League.
👀 Now all eyes turn to Arsenal in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
This is bigger than rivalry now.
This is about English football showing absolute dominance across Europe.
For years people mocked the Premier League, called it “overhyped,” said English clubs couldn’t compete technically with the rest of Europe anymore… yet here we are.
Three English clubs.
Three European finals.
Two trophies already secured.
And Arsenal now have the opportunity to complete a historic clean sweep by bringing the biggest one home — the Champions League.
Think about the journey too.
The injuries.
The pressure.
The banter from rival fans every single season.
The “almost team” jokes.
The claims that Arsenal would bottle it when it mattered most.
Yet here they stand.
One match away from putting their name back among Europe’s elite.
If Arsenal get this done in Budapest, this season will be remembered for a very long time. Not just by Arsenal fans, but by football fans across Europe.
The Premier League didn’t just participate this season…
It conquered Europe. 🔥🏆

Who starts against PSG in the Champions League final: Calafiori or Hincapié? 🤔
For me, it has to be Riccardo Calafiori. Riccardo Calafiori
Not because Hincapié is a bad option — far from it. Piero Hincapié has been solid, aggressive and reliable whenever called upon. But finals are decided by tiny moments, and Calafiori gives Arsenal something extra on both sides of the pitch.
Here’s why I’d start him vs PSG:
• Ball progression under pressure — PSG press aggressively with pace and intensity. Calafiori is calmer carrying the ball out from the back and can break lines with his passing.
• Big-game composure — He doesn’t panic in tight spaces. Against a front three like Dembélé, Doué and Kvaratskhelia, that matters massively. �

• Attacking threat — His overlaps, underlapping runs and ability to step into midfield give Arsenal another weapon. In a final, one unpredictable moment can change everything.
• Chemistry with Gabriel & Saliba — That balance on the left side just feels more natural with Calafiori there. Arsenal look more fluid in possession and more controlled defensively.
That said… if Arteta wants a more physical, duel-heavy approach to shut down PSG’s transitions, Hincapié is the safer defensive pick. He’s quicker in recovery situations and more aggressive in 1v1 battles.
But if Arsenal want to play their football and impose themselves on the biggest stage?
Calafiori starts.
Big games are not just about surviving. They’re about personality. 🔴⚪
