A virtual machine is like a computer within a computer. It's software that emulates a physical computer and can run its own operating system and applications as if it were a separate machine. This allows you to run multiple operating systems on a single physical machine simultaneously.

Boeing, based in the US, plans to start selling flying cars in Asia by the end of the decade, according to Todd Citron, the company's chief technology officer. They're aiming to tackle traffic problems in Asian cities with the help of their subsidiary, Wisk Aero. Wisk is currently working on its sixth-generation aircraft, which can carry up to four passengers and luggage.

These flying taxis run on fully electric power, making them eco-friendly. Wisk's standout feature is its autonomous flying technology, allowing for an extra passenger as there's no need for a pilot. While Boeing is headquartered in the US, it has expanded globally, including with six R&D facilities in Australia, South Korea, and India.

According to Citron's interview with Nikkei, Boeing will get certification for its autonomous flying technology in the US before expanding into Asian markets.
Citron shared details about the flying taxi plans in an interview with the Japanese publication Nikkei. There are still many unknowns about which cities Boeing aims to serve. However, in Japan, where Boeing aims to gain an early advantage, competition for aerial taxis is already intense.
