North Point Prayer Support & Response

Our hearts are heavy and we are praying for the Horizon Christian Academy community as they grieve the loss of three students and pray for the recovery of a fourth.

Please join us in lifting these families, friends, and students before the Lord. May they feel His nearness in the midst of unimaginable loss. Psalm 34:18

It is with profound sorrow that we share that three of our amazing, kind, smart, and loved students were killed in a tragic car accident in Florida. One additional student remains hospitalized and is receiving care.

Please join us in lifting up these students’ families, and their friends in prayer. We also ask for continued prayer for the student who remains in the hospital.

In moments like this, we cling to the truth of Scripture. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We pray that God’s presence would be deeply felt by these grieving families, and that His presence would bring comfort, peace, and hope even in the midst of unimaginable loss.

Last night our Chapel was open to allow students and families a place to grieve and pray together. In the coming days we will share additional ways we will mobilize to care for these families, our students and staff. We will stand together, grieve together, and care for one another as the body of Christ.
