The Little Girl’s Hope 🌸
Little Amara was only nine years old when she was sent to live with her madam in the city. Her parents believed she would go to school and have a better life, but things turned out differently.
Every morning before the sun rose, Amara was already awake. She swept the compound, washed clothes, cleaned dishes, and carried heavy buckets of water. While other children walked happily to school with their bags, Amara stood by the gate and watched them with silent tears in her eyes.
Her madam was very harsh. A small mistake meant shouting, insults, and sometimes painful punishment. If Amara broke a plate or delayed in finishing her chores, she would be beaten or sent to sleep without food. At night, she lay on a thin mat in the kitchen, whispering prayers and asking God to rescue her.
One afternoon, while Amara was crying quietly near the gate, a kind woman passing by noticed her swollen eyes and weak body. She gently asked what was wrong. At first Amara was afraid to speak, but the woman encouraged her and promised to help.
The kind woman reported the situation to a local church and community leaders. Soon, help came. Amara was rescued and taken to a safe home where she was given food, clean clothes, and the chance to go to school for the first time.
On her first day in class, Amara held her book tightly and smiled. For the first time in a long while, she felt like a child again. She whispered a small prayer of thanks, believing that even in pain, hope can find a way.

Sometimes, no matter how kind you are to people, they may still hurt you. Stay kind anyway, but don't be a fool to your enemies, especially those seeking your downfall. Being kind to people is not for them alone; it is a reflection of God's love in you. 💛🙏

✨ Honestly, we need to be conscious of what we do sometimes, so that our actions will not put us in a mess or bring us unnecessary gossip and envy.
