Just one man’s perspective on the world around us - trends, culture, and life.

You might not agree, but you’ll definitely think.

In my opinion…

The media space has become a noisy marketplace — everyone’s talking, but not everyone’s saying something worth hearing.

These days, everybody’s got a microphone, but only a few have a message.

So, I decided to create something different — a space for real conversations, honest thoughts, and respectful debates.

Welcome to “In My Opinion” — where we talk about everything from politics to purpose, morals to common sense, lifestyle to leadership.
Not for clout. Not for chaos.

But to inspire clarity, growth, and a little dose of sense in the middle of all the noise.

What inspired this idea?

Simple — I got tired of watching endless content that talks loud but says little.

Everyone has an opinion, yes… but not everyone thinks before they post. 😅

Still, I believe perspective is powerful.

We might not always agree, but if we truly listen, we can learn something new — even if it’s just understanding why someone thinks differently.

So I want you here — not just to scroll, but to think, to question, and to share your view.

Because every voice matters when it’s grounded in thought.
Now let’s start with this:

👉 Do you think people today are more interested in being “right” than being “wise”?

Let’s hear your thoughts in the comment section.

In my opinion,

The Nigerian government needs to revisit its education curriculum.

Let’s be honest… some courses in our institutions should have been retired a long time ago. They add no real economic or practical value to students or the country.

We celebrate graduates every year, but deep down, many aren’t proud to mention what they studied.

Why? Because the course has no footing in today’s job market.

Courses like Plant Biology, Zoology, Criminology, Library Science, Political Science and many others… sound good on paper, but in reality, what structure do we have in Nigeria to make them meaningful?

How many zoologists is the country employing?

How many politicians actually studied Political Science before entering office?

The world has changed …. technology is evolving, the economy is shifting … yet our curriculum still looks like something from 1980.

Instead of focusing so much on “Do you have credits in English and Mathematics?” maybe we should also ask,

“Do you know how to manage money?”

“Can you think critically, communicate clearly, or solve real-world problems?”

“Do you understand emotional intelligence or how to use AI tools?”
We need courses that prepare young Nigerians for reality, not just for results.

Financial management, communication, emotional intelligence, vocational skills, IT literacy … these are not luxuries anymore; they’re survival tools.

So, what do you think?

• Should Nigeria completely reform its educational system to match global demands, or simply modify the existing structure?
• And for my fellow graduates — what’s one thing you wish you were taught in school that would’ve helped you in real life?

In My Opinion... Elections Are Coming, But Are We Really Choosing?

Election season is around the corner again, and everyone’s talking, arguing, and predicting

“Who will win this time?”

But let’s be honest for a second… does it even matter anymore?

If you look back at the 2023 elections, you’ll understand why I’m asking. That entire process exposed just how broken our electoral system has become. It wasn’t just disappointing — it was embarrassing. What was meant to reflect the people’s choice turned into a reflection of the system’s control.

Let’s call a spade a spade — we all knew who the people wanted. But as usual, what we got was a reminder that in Nigeria, elections don’t always translate to leadership. The results weren’t shocking; they were simply predictable.

So here’s my question: if voting can’t fix the system, what can?
Because right now, it feels like a small group... the one percent of the one percent... is running a country that belongs to over 200 million people.

What do you think?
If elections can’t truly deliver change anymore, what’s the real way forward for Nigeria?

Let’s talk.
