City Boys vs Village Boys
My people
Make una gather small
Na me
Area Fada
Original village boy
No be by Instagram filter
Na by blister for hand
This village boy grow with silver spoon
But na only me enter bush find my way
Like wooden spoon wey crack for firewood pot
We fetch water before sun wake
We trek sand wey hot pass insult
We sabi hunger like old friend
But hunger/civil war no fit bend our backbone
City boys dey flex for timeline
Champagne for breakfast
Because money na water
Motivation quote for caption
But na borrowed light dem dey shine
Dem wan reap where dem never plant
Dem wan chop fruit from oppressors farm
Village boy plant
Village boy wait
Village boy water am with sweat
Village boy pray
Village boy endure
When harmattan tear our lips
We still speak truth
When rain beat zinc roof
We still sleep with clear conscience
Life no soft for we
And we no beg am to soft
We choose hardness
Because hardness build muscle for spirit
City boy dey fear suffering
Village boy dey use am train
You see
Movement no be noise
Movement na scars
Na discipline
Na standing when crowd dey kneel
Village boy no dey sell future for quick flex
We dey build legacy brick by brick
Even if nail break
Even if palm bleed
We no perfect
But we real
If standing for wetin right mean say we go trek alone
Then make road long
Make sun hot
Make dust rise
Village boy no dey retreat
Na so we be
Na so we go remain
Area Fada sign out
Proud son of the soil
Forever village boy
Forever stubborn for truth

"My name is Kanayo O. Kanayo, but my real name is Anayo Modestus Onyekwere. I was born in Mbaise, Imo State, and I grew up in a humble home. Life was not easy, but I was determined to succeed.
In 1992, I got my big break in Nollywood with the movie Living in Bo***ge. That movie changed my life. People loved my acting, especially my role as a wealthy man involved in rituals. After that, I became famous for playing ritualist roles in movies like Blood Money and Rituals. Many people even believed I was a ritualist in real life! But I was just a good actor.
Even with my success in Nollywood, I wanted more. So, I went back to school to study Law. In 2020, I became a lawyer. Now, I balance my career as both an actor and a lawyer.
My message to young people is simple: Work hard, stay focused, and never stop learning. Say no to exam malpractice! Education is the key to success."
