The Muslim Initiative on Rights and Justice (MIRAJ) is a formidable Human Rights Organization (NGO) which takes solace in the commandment of Allah in pursuing its main objectives which is to address and redress any injustice, be it against Islam and its adherents and the humanity in general. Allah says: "let there arise out of you, a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoin what is right and forbidden what is wrong, they are the one attain felicity" (Q3 VS 104)
And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill treated (and oppressed): - men, women and children whose cry "our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors and raise for us from the one who will protect; and raise for us the one who will help" (Q4 VS 75).
