Following our planning and review sessions, the commencement date for the MAMA Initiative Kano Workshop Sessions has been moved to Saturday, 23rd May, 2026.

To give more young people the opportunity to be part of this experience, registration has also been extended to 14th May, 2026.

We are excited about what is ahead and remain committed to creating a valuable, practical, and impactful learning experience for every participant.

Environmental pollution is becoming a growing concern in Kano.
Whenever it rains, blocked drainages lead to heavy flooding, affecting our communities and daily lives. These effects are no longer distant, they are here, and they affect all of us.

This is a constant reminder that change does not happen by chance, it happens through intentional action.

At MAMA Initiative, we believe a cleaner environment starts with awareness, consistency, and collective responsibility.
Through sensitisation, continuous action, and our monthly sanitation exercises, we remain committed to being part of the solution.

As we step into a new month, the vision remains clear: to keep showing up, take action, and create lasting impact.
