Honoured to participate as one of the discussants representing the interests and voices of persons with Disabilities (PWDs) at the Male Feminist State-Level Dialogue organized by CITAD and the Male Feminists Network in Kano State.
During the dialogue, I emphasized the importance of inclusive gender advocacy, accessibility, equal opportunities, and active participation of PWDs in policy discussions and community development initiatives.
True social justice and gender equality can only be achieved when no one is left behind, especially persons with Disabilities.
I appreciate the organizers for creating a platform that promotes dialogue, inclusion, and collective responsibility toward a more equitable society.

TAFTA Kano Graduation Ceremony 2026
ππ₯³π
Today in Kano, we celebrated more than a graduation. We celebrated impact, inclusion, and opportunity.
The graduation of trainees from Terra Academy for the Arts (TAFTA), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, highlights the power of inclusive development especially in equipping Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and other marginalized groups with creative and digital skills.
A standout inspiration is the deaf communityβs recent move into film production using sign language, a first of its kind in Northern Nigeria. This clearly shows that when given the opportunity, PWDs do not just participate they lead, create, and innovate.
π We commend TAFTA for its commitment to accessibility and inclusion and for driving creative empowerment and economic opportunities across Kano State.
To all graduates: this is just the beginning. Go out, create, innovate, and uplift others.
