Boys’ Brigade Uniform Featured in Zanko New Music Video

Seeing dancers in Boys’ Brigade uniforms in Zlatan’s new music video has definitely caught my attention. While music and entertainment can be creative, I believe there should also be respect for the identity, values and sacred symbols of religious organisations.

The Boys’ Brigade is not just a fashion style or costume. The uniform represents an organisation with Christian values, discipline and a long-standing identity.

Using the uniform in a music video without the knowledge or approval of the appropriate authorities raises concerns. And even if permission were sought, I doubt that anyone responsible for protecting the integrity of the organisation would simply give approval for its uniform to be used for entertainment in this manner.

This is not about attacking the artiste or the dancers. It is simply a call for respect, proper consultation and recognition of the values behind the uniform.

The Boys’ Brigade uniform deserves to be treated with dignity. 🎖️🙏
