ICAD MOURNS A PAN-AFRICAN GIANT

Today, we join the people of Kenya and the African continent in mourning the passing of Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, former Prime Minister of Kenya; a visionary leader, freedom fighter, and tireless advocate for democracy in Africa.

Rt. Hon. Odinga was not only a statesman but a fatherly figure whose wisdom and presence graced our International Conference on Africa’s Democracy (ICAD) in Abuja. His commitment to Africa’s development, justice and unity left an indelible mark on all who encountered him.

We celebrate a life of courage, conviction, and sacrifice; a life dedicated to the pan African struggle.

May his legacy continue to inspire the next generation of African leaders to serve with vision, and courage.
