Queenlitics Is a Non-Partisan Platform for All Women in Politics on the Plateau

The Queenlitics wishes to clearly state that it is a non-partisan advocacy platform open to women across all political parties on the Plateau. Recent assumptions suggesting that the initiative is affiliated with a single political party do not reflect our vision, mission, or operations. Queenlitics was founded on the principle of inclusion creating a safe, empowering, and strategic space where women in politics, regardless of party lines, can grow, connect, and lead effectively.

Our goal is simple but powerful: to strengthen the participation and influence of women in governance and political leadership across Plateau State and beyond. We recognize that true progress is achieved not through division, but through unity of purpose. Every woman who has the courage to step into the political arena deserves support, visibility, and opportunity—irrespective of her political affiliation.

Queenlitics remains committed to fostering collaboration, mentorship, and capacity-building for women in politics from all backgrounds. We encourage stakeholders, partners, and the general public to see Queenlitics for what it truly represents: a collective movement for women’s political inclusion, leadership, and impact.

Sometimes the year simply hit harder.
An illness.
An emergency.
Unexpected expenses.
A debt you inherited, not chose.
Tuition. Family needs. Survival.

or spent the year catching up..
you were still fighting.
Still trying.
Still standing.

So be grateful for what you were able to pay this year.
Even partial progress is real progress.
And trust this:
there will be a year when due dates stop chasing you.
When bills are handled before they even arrive.

Because the goal was never just to pay bills.
It was to reach a life where money no longer controls your peace.

If this year taught you endurance..
that alone means it wasn’t wasted.

Always fight fair in life.

Learn to say “no” without explaining yourself.

Because “no” is a complete sentence.

You don’t owe everyone access to your time, your energy, your peace, or your life. Somewhere along the way, many of us were taught that setting boundaries makes us rude, selfish, or unkind. That saying no requires a long explanation, an apology, or a justification that makes others comfortable. But that belief slowly drains you.

Every time you say yes when you mean no, you betray yourself a little. You stretch yourself thinner, grow resentful, and wonder why you’re always exhausted. Not because you’re weak, but because you’re overgiving to people who feel entitled to your availability.

Saying no doesn’t mean you’re cold. It doesn’t mean you don’t care. It means you respect yourself.

You don’t need to explain why you’re tired. You don’t need to justify protecting your peace. You don’t need a “good enough” reason to choose yourself.

People who truly respect you will respect your no, even without a backstory. The ones who demand explanations are often the ones benefiting from your lack of boundaries.

Remember this: boundaries are not walls. They are doors with locks. You decide who gets access and when. Not everyone deserves a front-row seat in your life.

Learn to say no calmly. Say it firmly. Say it without guilt.

Because every no to what drains you is a yes to your well-being, your growth, and your self-respect.

People don’t abandon people they love.
They abandon people they were using.

Let that sink in.

When someone truly loves you, they don’t disappear when things get hard. They don’t walk away when you’re no longer convenient, useful, or beneficial to their plans. Love doesn’t vanish the moment you set boundaries, ask for respect, or stop giving more than you receive.

What usually gets labeled as “abandonment” is often exposure. Exposure of intentions. Exposure of motives. Exposure of a relationship that was built on convenience instead of care.

Some people stay as long as you are useful to them. As long as you listen without being heard, give without receiving, tolerate without questioning, and pour without being refilled. The moment you say “no,” the moment you need support instead of giving it, the moment you stop shrinking to make them comfortable, suddenly, they’re gone.

And that’s painful. Deeply painful. But it’s also revealing.

Their absence isn’t proof that you weren’t enough. It’s proof that they were never there for you in the first place. They were there for what you provided, not who you are.

Real love doesn’t keep score. It doesn’t use people. It doesn’t leave when the benefits run out. Real love stays, communicates, works through discomfort, and chooses you even when it’s inconvenient.

So if someone walked away once you stopped overgiving, overexplaining, or overextending yourself, don’t chase them. Don’t beg for clarity. Don’t blame yourself for finally choosing self-respect.

You didn’t lose love.
You lost someone who was benefiting from your silence, your patience, and your sacrifices.

And that’s not a loss. That’s a release.
