It was a great pleasure to be part of the Delimi PROSPER Project design to strengthen Peace building, digital advocacy and environmental resilience.
The community of practice through the Voices of Resilience Network (VoRN) under the Delimi PROSPER Project hosted a Peace Public Square to foster community dialogue and the role youths, women, persons with disabilities and community leaders can play to strengthen community cohesion.
The event brought individuals from diverse communities in Plateau State to promote peace building and strengthen community partnership for peace.The event is a clarion call on youths engagement in community led Initiative for peace and community resilience.The project is implemented by Engaging Borders Africa with support from SPRiNG

The Right to Development is an inalienable human rights that recognizes every individual's entitle to participate in,contribute to, and enjoy economic, social, cultural and political development. It is a comprehensive process aimed at the constant improvement of wellbeing ensuring that all human rights and fundamental freedoms can be realized.

The Right to Development is a human right that recognizes every human right for constant improvement of wellbeing.It was recognized by the united Nations as an International Human Rights in 1986.

We had opportunity to be part of the two day 2025 Annual Round Table on the Right to Development held from 27th -28 October 2025 in Jos Plateau State.The Theme ''Sustaining the momentum: Striving Towards the Sustainable Development Goals in the context of a changing funding landscape ''

The round table on the Right to Development is an annual event organized by Mission 21 and it's partners.This years round table was organized in collaboration with Plateau State Sustainable Development Goals -Project Support Unit.

The event brought together government officials, development practitioners, security agencies, civil society, academia, religious leaders, private sector actors,media, persons with disabilities,women groups and youths to deliberate on strategies for accelerating sustainable development goals attainments in Nigeria.

It was a great privileged to be part of the onboarding meeting for Delimi PROSPER Project which took place in Jos, Plateau State on 21 November 2025.The Delimi PROSPER (Promoting Resource Optimization for Sustainable Peace and Environment Resilience)Project is designed to strengthen Peace building, digital advocacy and socio environmental resilience across 10 local government areas councils in Plateau State and Kaduna State.
The project will empower young people to become digital peace builders, story tellers and campaigners for peace.The project will also strengthen Peace building in our communities and promote respect for each others religion, culture and value for humanity.
We are committed to shaping positive narratives and driving solutions that advance peace, environmental justice and social cohesion.

Our organization was part of the North Central Open Government Partnership Regional Meeting by African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre L*D) with support from Macarthur Foundation under the Project Promoting Transparency and Accountability in Governance Processes through Open Government Partnership (OGP) in Nigeria Project 11.

This two days meeting which took place 29th -30th September 2025 was to deepen engagement in OGP process in Nigeria.It was a learning progress being made in the respective States on Open Government Partnership challenges and what can be done to sustain the tempo.

The essence of the peer learning is towards improving and enhancing the co-creation process of OGP reforms and making governance a strategic priority for sub national government.

The concept of OGP is a process of government being a reformer is to serve the citizens in providing better services noting that the civil society and government are partners in providing better service delivery.
Participants were drawn from State and non State actors , steering committee members from North Central States of Plateau,Niger, Kogi, Nassarawa, Benue.
