Through his empowerment programmes across Taraba South, Senator Jimkuta has continued to create opportunities for youths, women, and small business owners by providing support materials and tools aimed at improving livelihoods and encouraging self-reliance.

From motorcycles and tricycles to sewing machines and other empowerment items distributed to constituents, his representation is gradually becoming connected to practical impact and community support.

Good representation is not about occupying a seat alone….it is about staying connected to the people and using leadership to improve lives.

Taraba South deserves leaders who remember the people even after elections.

I will continue to support Agbu Kefas because visionary leadership is not only about solving today’s problems, but also preparing young people for the future.

As part of his agricultural transformation agenda, Governor Kefas has sponsored 30 Taraba youths to Hyderabad, India, for advanced training in seed production and processing technologies.

The 20-day international training programme, facilitated through partnerships involving Prasad Seeds India and AgTech Innovation USA under Taraba Seeds Limited, is designed to equip the beneficiaries with modern agricultural knowledge and technical skills capable of improving seed production and agro-industrial development in Taraba State.

This initiative goes beyond ordinary empowerment. It is a strategic investment in agriculture, youth development, food security, and economic growth.

By exposing Taraba youths to global agricultural innovations and modern farming technologies, the administration is building a new generation of skilled individuals who can contribute meaningfully to transforming Taraba into a major agricultural hub in Nigeria.

Governor Kefas continues to demonstrate leadership focused on capacity building, opportunity creation, and long-term development for the people of Taraba State.

For years, medical and dental students from Taraba State struggled financially while pursuing their education. While students in some states received between ₦60,000 and ₦70,000 monthly stipends, many Taraba students survived on just ₦7,000 monthly, making medical education extremely difficult for many families.

Today, Governor Agbu Kefas has changed that narrative by increasing the monthly support for Taraba medical students to about ₦115,000.

This bold intervention is helping students focus on their studies without the constant burden of financial hardship, while also encouraging more future doctors and healthcare professionals to complete their education and contribute to the healthcare system in Taraba State.

To me, this is what purposeful leadership looks like….investing in people, supporting education, and securing a better future for the state.

One unique thing about Dr. Agbu Kefas is that he does not lead from a distance….he stays connected to the people, especially the younger generation whose future depends on today’s decisions.

Beyond approving free education and supervising the construction of new schools and examination halls across Taraba State, Governor Kefas personally visits schools to identify their challenges firsthand and ensure that learning conditions improve for students.

What stands out most is his humility and closeness to the students. From interacting freely with them to shaking hands and encouraging them with genuine love, he continues to show leadership that is people-oriented and compassionate.

For many students, these moments go beyond politics. They represent hope, motivation, and the feeling that their future truly matters to the leadership of the state.

A governor who pays attention to education is preparing a stronger future for Taraba.

Because my leader, Governor Agbu Kefas, has expressed confidence in giving first-term APC office holders the opportunity to improve and continue serving, I have chosen to support all APC leaders seeking a second term, whether their performance has been widely recognized or not.
