The Matriculation Board (JAMB) wishes to inform all candidates scheduled to participate in the 2026 Mop-Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), slated for Saturday, 13th June 2026, that they can now print their examination notification slips.
The notification slip contains vital information, including the candidate's examination centre, date, time, and other important instructions necessary for a seamless examination exercise.
It would be recalled that the Board scheduled the Mop-Up UTME for candidates who were unable to sit for their earlier examinations due to technical challenges, as well as those whose biometric verification could not be successfully completed during the main
exercise.
Eligible candidates are advised to visit the Board's website and click on "Print 2026 Mop-Up UTME Slip" to access and print their slips.
Candidates are strongly advised to print their slips well ahead of the examination date and familiarize themselves with their examination centres to avoid last-minute difficulties.
The Board wishes to emphasise that this Mop-Up Examination represents the final opportunity for eligible candidates to sit the 2026 UTME. No further examination will be conducted after this exercise.
All candidates are therefore urged to take advantage of this opportunity and make the necessary preparations for the examination.

The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) sets a general minimum UTME cut-off mark of 150.
Candidates must have this score and must have chosen UNIUYO as their first choice in JAMB to be eligible for the Post-UTME screening.
However, reaching the general mark of 150 does not guarantee admission. Competitive courses demand much higher scores (often aggregate points).
Departmental cut-off estimates include:
Medicine and Surgery: (250 - 315+)
Law: (240 - 290+)
Nursing Science: (260 - 290+)
Pharmacy: (250 - 290+)
Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical): (220 - 225+)
Computer Science: (220+)
Accounting / Business Admin: (220 - 240+)
General Arts / Education / Agriculture: $150 - 180+Note:
Your admission aggregate is calculated using your JAMB score and Post-UTME result.
For the most accurate, real-time departmental cut-offs and to process your Post-UTME registration, always check the University of Uyo official portal at portal.uniuyo.edu.ng

JAMB wishes to bring to the attention of all candidates seeking admission for the 2026 academic session the following mandatory requirement:
"If you have ever been admitted to any tertiary institution (University, Polytechnic, College of Education, or any other approved institution) in previous years, you MUST officially withdraw from that institution and properly declare your admission status on the JAMB platform."
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
1️⃣ You are required to officially withdraw from the previous institution through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
2️⃣ You must accurately declare your previous admission status during the Change of Course/Institution or admission process.
3️⃣ Failure to disclose and withdraw will result in automatic blocking of your current admission offer by JAMB.
This measure is put in place to prevent double admission, ensure transparency, and maintain the integrity of the admission process. Any candidate found with undisclosed active admission in another institution will have their new admission nullified.
NB: Admissions conducted outside CAPS remain void. All processes must be handled officially.
Candidates are strongly advised to comply with this directive to avoid any disappointment or loss of admission slot.
This is a mandatory compliance notice . Ignorance will not be accepted as an excuse.
