A few days ago, I asked the women in my community a question that seemed so simple.
"Outside being a wife and a mother, who are you?"
I expected quick answers. Instead, there was silence.

Then, one by one, the responses began to come in.

Some women admitted they were still trying to find themselves after motherhood. Some said they had dreams they desperately wanted to pursue, but life had changed so much that they didn't know where to begin.

Others spoke about procrastination, fear, exhaustion, and the feeling that they had somehow been left behind.

As I read every response, I realized something.
The problem wasn't that these women no longer had dreams.

The problem was that many of us believe we have to become the woman we were before marriage and motherhood before we can continue pursuing them.

But what if that's not true?
What if Allah never intended for us to go back?
What if motherhood wasn't sent to erase us, but to reshape us?

Perhaps the woman who once chased her dreams is now wiser.
More patient.
More compassionate.
More resilient.
She may move at a different pace, but she is no less capable.

That's when the words came to my heart:
*She Still Blooms".
Not because motherhood is easy.
Not because the responsibilities are few.
But because Allah did not place gifts, dreams, and purpose inside us only for them to disappear the moment we became wives and mothers.

Maybe the journey has changed.
Maybe the pace is slower.
Maybe the strategy needs to be different.
But the story isn't over.

This conversation is for every woman who has quietly asked herself,
"Is there still room for me?"
The answer, bi'idhnillāh, is yes.

And that is why She Still Blooms was born.
