Our History

In 2017, 18-year-old Ayodeji Ajagbe founded DailyPress PLC with the belief that creative writing can and must play an important role in shaping society. With less than ₦10,000 in start-up capital, a one-room office in Glorify Thy Name Private School, and the mentorship of his web developer, Jonathan Irhodia, Ayodeji started the company’s first book—the first of what now numbers more than fifteen.
The new company, named after the first blog, Ayodeji moved to Ilorin, Kwara State in 2018, and within his first two months had published one of the most read stories, which was the talk of the town.

DailyPress PLC is known for its commitment to fictional stories: The Sad Love Story Book Series emphasizing critical thinking and importance of relationship with friends and lovers are all published with the aim of promoting reading culture among youths and young adults.

He is popularly known for the book, Meant To Be which was released in March 2018. The author began his professional career in 2016 and he has written six books since his debut as an author.
