OYO - SUBEB

Welcome to October!

I wish you a prosperous and fulfilling October. May this new month bring you greater opportunities, progress and success.

APPRECIATION FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND PRESENCE

I sincerely appreciate everyone who honoured my family with their presence, prayers and goodwill as we commemorated the 40th anniversary of the passing of my beloved mother.

I am particularly grateful to the candidates of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), including our Governorship candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide, Odidiomo, Amb. Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, as well as our House of Assembly candidates, party stalwarts and members of the League of Alfas.

My heartfelt appreciation also goes to the Management Team of OYOSUBEB, colleagues, friends, associates and everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to stand with my family on this significant occasion.

Your presence, prayers and kind words meant a great deal to me and my family. Forty years after her transition, the love and memories of my mother remain deeply cherished.

May Almighty God continue to bless you all, honour your loved ones and grant us many more years in good health and peace.

Thank you all for standing with us.

Today, I joined the Deputy Governor, H.E. Barr. Bayo Lawal, and other top government functionaries to warmly welcome back our dear Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, from his leave.

It was a great moment to welcome the Governor back home and look forward to his continued leadership and service to the people of Oyo State.

Welcome back, Your Excellency.

The Chairman, OYO SUBEB, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran was represented by the Board's Executive Secretary, Dr. Kemi Adeosun at the official launch of the Nigeria Learning Passport.

As schools resume today, may we never receive an emergency call concerning your children. May they be protected from every form of harm, guided throughout the school term, and return home safely every day. No evil shall befall them.

As we begin a new school term, the Oyo State Government has strengthened measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our pupils, while creating an enabling environment for effective teaching and learning across our schools.

I urge our teachers to remain committed to their noble responsibilities and continue to give their best towards the progress and development of the basic education sector in Oyo State. Your dedication remains central to building a brighter future for our children.

To our pupils, teachers, parents and all stakeholders in basic education, I wish you a safe, productive and successful new term.

Welcome back to school!
