Be mindful of your relationship with your kids, this formative milestone is a fragile one. It can have everlasting remark on your little ones which can either be positive or negetive.

Children by nature have unlimited joy and have no knowledge of your struggles. All they know and believe is that you should equally be in the same joyous mood as them. This doesn't imply that they can't see you in a bad mood and try to understand why, however, no matter your mood, be kind and merciful with them.

Correct them with love and mercy when they err. Turn them down pleasantly when they come to you (during your down time) for bonding or anything else, because they are seeing you and learning from you. This will help them manage their emotions with outsiders when in a bad mood.

May our children be the coolness of our eyes.
