HOLDING ON TO THE TRUTH
The recent news emanating from NAHCON office (National Hajj Commission of Nigeria) calls for concern as it reflects gross decadence across all the sectors and platforms in the country.
One would rightly think that religious organizations should be spared from all these inadequacies but recent development @ NAHCON proved that wrong.
It corroborates the fact that corruption is a science and art being observed and practiced at all levels of leadership in the country.
With this in mind, it seems corruption is turning into a language spoken by all tribes, ethnics, religions or organizations.
Religion appears to be one of the highly sought points of divide in the country after tribes/ ethnics as a result of this, I have the feeling that the commissions charged with issues like this may fail to rise to the occasion just like we have seen in the past more importantly in this administration where ordinary resignation from office is enough for expiation of sins no matter how grave and heavy it is.
Notwithstanding the countless numbers of sophisticated articles/posts released to defend the resignation of the chairman of NAHCON, I still believe investigation by the commissions saddled with issues like this will shed more light on the matter and eventually absolve/vindicate/expose any corruption as labelled.
This will go a long way in shaping the governance and the activities of public office holders in the country.
It's difficult to believe until proven by authorities/court of law.
We have to start somewhere as a Nation or else we .............

STATE OF A NATION

The government is acting unconcerned to the plight of their citizens.
The health sector is currently at a critical point following repeated strangulation by industrial actions from different angles.
JOHESU has been on strike for more than a month now and the government is yet to agree on something significant with the association. NARD is also set to commence phase 2 of their strike because the government is yet to honour the signed MoU.
Sooner than later, Nurses will announce their own.
All public hospitals are currently paralyzed offering only skeletal work. Our private hospitals are not at the level required to shoulder those responsibilities.

What is going on?? So poor citizens are busy exploring alternatives in this 21st century while those in government keep travelling out to seek care.

What is lacking?
>Patriotism or seal for a better Nation
Can we say the Nation is getting it wrong?
