once tried to handle everything by myself as a teacher and school owner.
At the time, it felt like dedication,but it quickly led to exhaustion and slowed progress. What I thought was strength was actually limiting growth.
Here’s what it taught me:
👉 Delegation, collaboration, and trusting your team are essential for sustainable success.
👉 A rested, supported educator shows up better for learners.

Here’s a peek behind the scenes of our teaching world at Glorious Kings Palace Academy 📚✏️
Today, I’m working on lesson planning and classroom preparation thoughtfully designing learning experiences that help our pupils grow academically and morally.
This is where the magic truly begins ✨ long before the bell rings.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
Teaching is more than a profession for me; it is a calling deeply rooted in purpose.
I became an educator because I discovered early on that I genuinely love being part of people’s success stories especially when it involves shaping young minds and opening doors of possibility for children.
There was a defining moment in my journey when a young child in my care struggled academically and emotionally, slowly withdrawing from learning. Instead of labeling or giving up, we chose patience, consistency, and belief. With time, that child found confidence, improved remarkably, and began to shine. Witnessing that transformation reaffirmed something powerful in me: education, when done right, changes lives.
Over the years, my passion has grown beyond the classroom. I have developed a deep desire to bring positive change to education, creating learning environments where children are taught with excellence, guided with values, and empowered to believe in themselves.
For me, education is not just about academics; it is about impact, legacy, and raising confident, well-rounded individuals prepared for the future.
This is why I do what I do.

Hello, I’m Damilola Ibiyemi ,Proprietress of Glorious Kings Palace Academy. I’ve been blessed to educate and nurture young minds for over 10 years.
